From a legal standpoint I am not disagreeing with anyone at all. The point I'm making is why purchase from them to begin with if you don't agree to the policies (or know they are illegal). Isn't that enough to tell you to shop elsewhere? If you DO agree to their jacked up / illegal policies, then why not suck it up?

My understanding when I ordered from GrabAGun was that their policy meant they would ship, but if I realized that I couldn't keep the mags or if they were seized during shipment I couldn't try to return them or demand a refund. That's perfectly reasonable for a company in their position. Once it's out their door it's on me.

I did not take it to mean "We can decide that we like your money, but that we also like our mags, and just not even bother trying," which is what it's sounding like they've since decided.

Yes and I agree with what you are saying that if the store makes it very clear that you eat the charge if they cant ship. Total douche move to do a charge back in that case. I just have a feeling some companies are gambling and taking orders now and hoping they can fill the orders later. Which is fine. I understand that it may not work. Thats why I only bought 1. Not hundreds or thousands of $$ worth like some people on here.

I totally agree that if the terms were not clear that chargebacks, etc.. are fully warranted.

that was my understanding too, also the notice just doesn't pop up or no big announcement. You practically have to dig for it to find the damn thing.

Why are you still arguing this point? It's ridiculous. It's one thing if they *try* to ship it and it gets confiscated at the border, its another NOT to ship it at all.

Whats to stop me from opening up a "DerpDerp Mag Imporium" and just take everyone's order and NOT ship anything at all since I have your "100% restock fee policy"? That BS won't hold it's weight in liberal tears in court and you know it.

I just had a 12 minute conversation with GrabAGun where I had placed three orders over the weekend.

They confirmed for me that orders will ship.

They confirmed that all orders placed will ship until they can no longer take orders because they are told not to take orders.

They confirmed for me that should California go back on this enjoinment I will be in possession of illegal objects AND at that point they would no longer be able to refund me (of course) or accept a return (of course).

They confirmed that until anything ships anyone is able to cancel an order with a 15% restocking fee.

No meeting of the minds (which is another requirement for a valid contract).

Yes the easiest method would have been to avoid the seller totally, Sure, but they had reason to believe they would issue refunds on orders that never got shipped at a minimum.
