Remember Ben is a pro CCW DEM whereas Livingston is an anti CCW RINO.

Best to vote across the ticket in this election: Ben for Sheriff and Mary for DA.

Mail in ballots arrived LAST WEEK. Best not to wait to donate, volunteer and support Ben.

A good article about Ben vs Livingston debate and the candidates.

Sheriff David Livingston and challenger Benjamin Therriault debated issues such as deadly shootings by a deputy in Danville, property crimes, accountability, transparency and employee morale at a candidates forum Tuesday night.

                SJ Merc endorses Ben!

Pass it along to DEMs (don’t mention CCWs) and GOPers (mention CCWs).

Looks like Livingston got 61% and Therriault got 39%. Only 127,000 votes were cast for all offices in CC County, which has a population of one million. 18% turnout. That illustrates how very important these primaries are.

Question: does this result mean that Livingston is re-elected, or does it mean we vote again in November for one of these two?

2021 Census says 1.16M but the adult population of CC totals only ~903,000, so the turnout was like 14%.

That is better than we did in Placer though, with a turnout of less than 10% of adults

So this was not a "jungle primary" for this particular office, in which the two top vote getters go to November? This was a final vote for this office?

Glad I voted for Ben. He had a pretty good showing.

All our hopes now are on SCOTUS. They will hand down an opinion on the New York concealed carry case by the end of this month.

When only 2 candidates run, there is no need for a runoff.

According to about a hour ago Ben has >40% That’s a strong showing against a sitting sheriff.
