People will have to get the word out to shooting ranges (Richmond, United Sportsmen, Livermore). shooting clubs (PPC, IPSC/USPDA, IDPA, skeet/trap, sporting clay, waterfowl and game hunters), local gun shops/stores, NRA Member Councils (Richmond, Antioch, San Ramon), etc. There’s a TON of work to do! Contact Ben to help him out. I have!

I believe in the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution. People under the law are entitled to protection and self-defense. Additionally, I do not think this right should only be provided to the few, the elite, or to those with access to power. This is an equity issue and for far too long, people in our county have been denied this right.

Crime is socially/economically driven. Many of our neighbors are struggling to obtain the resources needed to support their families. The Sheriff needs to join justice system partners to advocate at the local and state level for the expansion of homeless outreach, social services, mental health, and drug rehabilitation to provide people the help they need to be healthy and productive members of the community.

Probably true among some young men. Probably not true among most others.

EXACTLY! The choice is between a RINO who won’t let us defend ourselves and protect our families or a pro CCW Dem who will.

What we know is that since 1986, not one state that has liberalized issuance any amount has ever gone back any amount to restrictive issuance.



Within CA, at least since 2009 (as far back as I can remember the status of the CA CCW GC map), only two county have gone from more liberal issuance to more restrictive: (1) OC after Corona was convicted, all CCWs issued by him pulled by Hutchens, only for them to reapply and virtually all get reissued; and (2) LA right now because they’ve been overwhelmed by applications so are holding, not denying, recreational activities risks GC applications (Light Green), probably until NYSRPA gets decided (before July).





Bottom line: The sheriff does not make welfare or education laws, so his views on that are irrelevant. But he does set CCW GC policy and that does affect me. Once we get a pro CCW sheriff elected in a county it never goes back. We elect sheriffs only every 4 years. So take your bitter medicine and support (donate, volunteer) and vote for Ben Therriault.

Believing to what politician promises, is like believing words “I love you” out of prostitution’s mouth after you paid her.

Since you can’t believe anything any candidate states, don’t vote or use a dartboard or coin flip to decide.

It’s a stupid statement presumably to make a joke. (Since you don’t even live in CoCoCo.)

Or justifying to yourself being irresponsible and selfish by donating and volunteering NOTHING.
