By the way, Gov. Brown has now officially welcomed illegal immigrants to California.
That's also for our own good, the working people of this great State. The unemployment rate is so low these days, it's just not good for the economy so the Governor saw the need to take the burden off us Californian workers and give the jobs to Mexican illegals.
Thank a liberal for that. And for the anti-gun laws that come pouring down from Sacramento.
Perfect storm. Mexico is a socialist state with strict gun control, a drug based insurgency, and one of the most corrupt places on the planet. Does anyone think those immigrants are going to change their stripes the second they cross the border and become pro 2a?

CA is a pit because of all the unfunded retirement obligations to public employees and also the huge outstanding debt built up by a series of bond measures.
Things usually turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out.

You all may bash California but it still has one of the best gunsmithing schools in the nation. Lassen Community College is outstanding, for training, of future gunsmiths.

If the coastal counties from Los Angeles up around the Bay Area to Humboldt were split off, the rest of California would be an incredibly conservative state, and the biggest gun-buying state in the nation.

The free-est (relatively speaking) states are those with few or no major cities. No thick concentrations of people = a lot less leftism. And since more and more people (not productive, working, successful people, but just "people") will keep crowding into California, it'll keep getting worse and worse. IMO, we should have a state Senate that's chosen around geographic lines, not population, like how the US Senate is formed. That would have been a great bulwark against the leftist Assembly. But we don't, and we never will.

California is a lost cause. I left and lived in Virginia for a while. Other than the weather, I liked that a lot better. I came back for a very dumb reason, and the only reason I stay is because I really owe the customer who pays for my time. The moment that comes to an end, I'm out of here again, and I won't be back. There is no point to "stay and fight" when my vote for freedom is not only countered by 100 grasping hands, but also by ten other votes who claim to believe in "freedom", but really mean "you're free to do what I approve of". Republicans in this state tend to be such extremists that they drive even more popular support away from their party and to the left. Most Californians simply don't care about gay marriage or pot, and pounding a pulpit on those issues just makes your voters either stay home or vote for a "lesser evil".

As a republican who is very pleased with the House of Representatives, which incidentally has stopped all fed gun restriction schemes .
I'm further very happy with the California Republican Party that nearly always votes for more freedom and less govt .

You may have noticed that Virginia has elected an F minus Governor ( Terry McAuliff over A rated Ken Cucchenelli .

This happened because a billionaire democrat bundler for Obama poured lots of money into the campaine of LIBERTARIAN Robt. Sarvis !

I am delighted your in California and I pray to god that you never have the opportunity to defeat another NRA endorsed candidate like you and your pals did in Virginia by voting for and identifing with the libertartarian party .

Thanks for proving my point. You're a PERFECT example of why California keeps sliding into a sewer, while Virginia will weather four years of McAuliffe with little to no damage done... their state Legislature isn't going to be sending him very many anti-gun bills to sign. Meanwhile, your blaming those who vote for more freedom for the results of you voting for less freedom is going to keep on seeing more and more anti-gun bills sent to your "pro-gun" Gov. Moonbeam, who'll gleefully sign most of them and refuse to sign one or two every now and then so you can keep on chortling about your "successes".

In your previous post you claimed the " California GOP is too extremist" can you prove that ?
You brag about Virginia weathering McAuliff and yet if they do. It will be republicans stopping him .
Their reward from so called RKBA types ? Vote libertarian . Wow with RKBA friends like you its a certainty Virginia will fall into democrat hands .

Virginia has taken a big hit politically, there will be NO new positive gun laws signed by McAulff . Further if easy led, easily propagandized libertatarians such as yourself continue to be financed by wealthy democrats . Its possible Viginia could gain more anti gunners and will look like California .

Hey pal in 40 years the libertarian s have won ZERO important elections .

"Austin, Texas, software billionaire Joe Liemandt is the Libertarian Booster PAC’s major benefactor. He’s also a top bundler for President Barack Obama. This revelation comes as Virginia voters head to the polls Tuesday in an election where some observers say the third-party gubernatorial candidate could be a spoiler for Republican Ken Cuccinelli."

The article failed to say libertarians are so illiterate and easily brainwashed that they will fall for this !
Since the article missed it ! I will say it . Welcome F minus Terry McAulliff to the Virginia governors mansion ! Thanx to RKBA big shots that are " low information voters "
Meanwhile A rated NRA endorsed Ken Cucchenelli goes home without influence to help Virginia gun owners .

Like I said you deserve California. Virginia does NOT deserve you !

1st off its wrong to refer to free Americans as the " Masses " unless of course your a Marxist . Which I doubt you are.

2nd the FOPA helped nearly every gunowner in the USA, finally we had protections for interstate travel and a few other real benefits to gunowners .

3 rd you missed an important fact. The FA restriction was put in by a NJ democrat who was elected by anti gun democrats and libertarians.

4th What exactly would you have wanted Reagan to do ? Sign it ?
                      or issue a veto ?

Just a word of advice, I would keep quiet about how great Colorado is, it isn't ! You got anti gun democrats in the legislature and governors mansion.
The only reprieve Colorado got was when the RNC donated time, money and voter lists to recall morse and the other antigun skank .
                      From link

"Statement From Chairman Priebus On The Colorado Recall Election Results:
“Congratulations to Senators-elect Bernie Herpin and George Rivera on their victories,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “Bernie and George ran impressive campaigns, and I’m confident they’ll be strong additions to the Colorado Senate. Republicans are going to compete for every vote in Colorado, and tonight is only the beginning of our path to victory in 2014.”
RNC Provided Grassroots Support For Colorado Recall Elections:
Working to help win recall elections in Senate Districts 3 and 11, the RNC was on the ground with equipment, data resources, and staffers on the ground recruiting and organizing volunteers and working with county parties and the campaigns to achieve weekly voter contact goals.
                      Partisan Composition Of Each District:
                      SD 11 (Colorado Springs) is 26% R, 40% U, and 34% D
                      SD 3 (Pueblo) is 23% R, 31% U, and 45% D "

In case some low information Calgunners do not know RNC stands for Republican National Committee .
Of which yours truly is a proud member .

The majority of Californians are the dumbest people in the United States. For example Look at the politicians they keep in office. Californians are just plain dumb.
California's politicians and unionized government employees are a crime gang that makes the Mexican drug cartels look like a Girl Scout Troop in comparison.

Liberals convienently "forget" CA sold $10 billion worth of state backed bonds (debt) in 2010 to "balance the budget".

I find it comical these people still blindly back obviously corrupt union-owned political hacks - In spite of all the proof they are blatantly pushing a socialist/communist agenda.

Responding to the OP's post, destroying the constitution is just a means to an end, and that end is money through corruption.

The dems want people turning on eachother, fighting about meaningless issues like gay marriage and abortion. They want to harass the people who want law and order and a good economy. They want to pander to the stupid, low-information voters and pass laws that make that strata of society the most politically relevant. Most of all they want us all chasing our tails working 9-5 exhausting ourselves so all we have energy for is a few episodes of reality tv before we sleep and do it all again the next day. Why?

So they can proceed with their corrupt activities with no one watching. Yee got away with it for years. Feinstein became a multi millionaire after taking office. Its just a matter of time before we discover what DeLeon is up to.

In the span of US history, "urban" = "liberal/leftism" is a relatively new thing.

Before 1950, urban cities were the conservatives as the GOP stood for urban pro-business industrialists, and the rural areas were the Solid South Democrats who stood for states rights. It was Nixon-Goldwater who changed the GOP strategy to the southern rural areas.
