    Hey everyone. I just finished contacting the NRA. If you really feel this way contact them also and ask them to run a tv ad campaign. Here's the link and you don't have to be a member to contact them.

      Thank you for the support!

      There are a few ads already on the air in a number of CA metro markets. We are targeting major AM talk and some FM with a history of ROI for our core audience. Here's where we are up and running (or will be very soon):

      * KFMB / KGB / KOGO (San Diego)
      * KNZR (Bakersfield)
      * KMJ (Fresno / Central Valley)
      * KHKK / KATM (North Central Valley)
      * KSFO / KKSF (San Francisco Bay Area)
      * KFBK (Sacramento)
      * iheartradio / online streaming

      Where we're heading next (funding permissible):

      * KFI / Los Angeles
      * Redding
      * Central Coast / San Luis Obispo

      We would very much appreciate all the help we can get; Los Angeles market alone is going to run about $10-15k per week. There others are not cheap, either. I believe that we may have an angel donor willing to match funds -- more on that once we have the details worked out.

      I'd like to thank BulletButton.com/North County Firearms, Tracy Rifle & Pistol, Sacramento Black Rifle, PRK Arms, Cordelia Gun Exchange, and a host of other FFLs for fully or partially supporting our efforts to reach as many Californians as possible ASAP.

        Most people and I am generalizing in the urban cities only have hand guns. They are probably only taken out when there's some sort of threat in their neighborhoods. They hear about some local burglary ring targeting houses in the news they go to the closet look at their hand gun and say I need to go get some ammo. If they knew that its not going to be that easy to go to the local sporting goods store and pick up a box of 9mm.That's when every gun owner in the state will get up in arms about these bills. I'm not sure a radio ad will hit every one believe it or not there are some democrats that wouldn't agree with these bills if they knew about them. Even Spanish speaking people need to know about these bills. I'm telling you If people knew they couldn't just go buy ammo any more it would start a snowball effect and they would complain about all the bills

        Old problems are like dry poop, if you let the dry poop sit it doesn't smell but the minute you decide to stir the poop with a stick, the smell comes back. Moral of the story, Don't bring up old problems!

          Its human nature to want what you cant have. Look at what happened after Sandy Hook . The minute that they mentioned banning AR type rifles the whole country went on a AR15 buying spree. It did more to promote gun ownership than any commercial could have. If all of California knew that they cant own an AR15 starting next year it would do the same. All Californians would flock to the stores and start buying them just so they can say they own one. Either way you look at it its beneficial. It would make the state more armed and the new owners will complain why cant they use their new firearms at the BLM lands. What good is it to have some thing you can use

                  How about an ad on Sirius/XM. How much does it cost? I'm thinking Howard Stern channel since he has quite the following or other channels that have a large number of listeners.

                      No freaking kidding, I would guess more gun owners are unaware of the looming attacks on our rights than are.

                      The word needs to get out there!! The NRA without a question has the money to run TV commercials, they need to get up off their lazy asses and make it happen!

                        On the other hand if the NRA did a video I think you'd have a lot of rolled eyes around CA and thinks its a scare tactic or advertisement to join and they would ignore. It would have to be very well thought out and not the typical spokesperson. Maybe Colion Noir? A Female? Hell I don't know.
                        I listen to celebrities....it's just that I tend to do precisely the opposite of what they suggest. Perhaps it's because I realize that most of them are bat$h!t crazy?

                          Why have we, and by "we" I mean CA gun organizations and NRA, allowed the current "Assault Weapons Ban" so much time to move forward without publicly branding it as a "Sporting Rifle Ban" - that is what it is, yes? Would feel good adverts of father & son walking through the woods in hunter orange or red/black checkered jackets (cue mellow music and friendly smiles, no shooting please ....) and then "wham" - the jail door slams shut and they're behind bars in black & white striped jumpsuits be helpful? For the longest time we could have included Mom & daughter & family "plinking" with 22s too.

                          I see success in CO. I see the same in IL, and that Chicago just abandoned its "gun registry" after 45 years. I see that we keep trying to finesse just how badly we're getting screwed.
