      Competition is good !

Hopefully, Jerry Brown will feel like a second fiddle and feel the need to out-do Christie and veto at least twice as many of OUR anti-gun bills. Well, one can hope can't they?

We need someone who is not a hard-right religious nut and who is a genuine fighter. If the R nominee is neither of those...we'll have Hillary for president, guaranteed.

"hard-right RELIGIOUS nut" is just as insulting/ignorant as "hard-right GUN nut, is it not?!

Makes sense, (to you) I guess.

Where is the line in the Republican party one stands in to support the Constitution? I'm having trouble finding it.
Looks like CC signed 10 bills regarding Guns . According to Scott Bauh sp. president NJRP
            2 NJRP opposed
            2 NJRP supported
6 NJRP had no position on .
Not sure what the 2 votes in opposition were .

Recently he vetoed 3 bills which everyone would consider anti gun. Something no democrat governor has done. We had a European RINO as governor who signed the 50 ban as Calgunners recall.
The sad fact, if it were not for the democratic majority's in these states, no new gun restrictions would be presented.

I am not supporting CC, but find the condemnation of him by calgunners who are unable to elect or effect any progun legislation idiotic and ridiculous .
These rather challenged Calgunners and their fellow travelers nationwide re elected the most corrupt, inept, anti gun, anti energy, person in US history !

Regarding constitutional govt, its regretfully a losing issue with the majority of people who compose the various groups required to win elections.

If constitutional govt were a popular concept, we would note Calgunners could outline the bill of rights, the source of rights and the purpose of govt.

Regretfully not one Calgunner who has posted could answer these 3 elements regarding the constitution .

So I refuse to jump on the bash CC bandwagon and will keep on open mind . I sure would prefer him to what we have now .

People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

Many of us are very proud of how you and others like you, have the courage and political knowledge to stand up to the NRA/GOA with regard to voting for candidates other than those they research, recommended and get commitments from.

It is extremely, intelligent, well read Calgunners like you that show others, how the NRA is simply an empty storefront without power to elect anyone or influence elections.

I have made a list of calgunners who are so much better as humans, historians, and have more political skills than CC or any NRA GOA recommended candidate or person the NRA GOA helped elect, that next election I will write in your names for every office on the ballot .
I hope other Calgunners will do the same and with help from the teachers union, elderly voting blocks , every public and private union we can get a few of our own elected.
Yes just for California, I will abandon my Republican Party .

It's obvious you'll shill for the Republican establishment no matter how little regard they have for the Rights of those who support them.

If you really believe supporting the current Republican party will somehow help you regain lost freedoms you are delusional. If you honestly believe winning elections will transform the Republicans into a party that rediscovers the Constitution rather than reinforcing them to continue down the path of totalitarian control simple delusion would be a step up.

I've concluded your a either a 5 th column plant or a brainwashed child. In either event, the fact you ignore the NRA GOA recommendations with regard to voting proves you are no friend to RKBA .

And people on here wonder why the AWB in this state hasn't been overturned, why we still have Feinstein and Boxer, mag kits and bullet buttons instead of mag releases and assembled mags, on and on...
