Only the DUMBEST people will think Christie is pro-gun. In case you didn't know anything about poliics, Christie wants to WIN the Republican primary so he wants to be able to tout a pro-gun record just like Romney tried to do. Remember how Romney was a "LIFE MEMBER" of the NRA? Don't mind the fact that Romney only became an NRA life member 1 year before he ran for President. It's all politics, don't think for a second that Christie won't sign legislation after another Sandy Hook.

You all know if Christie gets the nomination and gets elected, he will become super conservative.

His record isn't stellar, but he has fought the unions that terrorized NJ, specifically the teachers union; he achieved pension reform for the public unions. He supports school choice. He is very pro life.

He is no more than a moderate Republican candidate. Borderline RINO, but not as bad as every one makes him out to be. He would mop the floor with Madame Scandals in all 3 debates.

Personally, we need Ted Cruz in this thang.

You are critical of voters who criticize Republican Governor Christie because he's not pro-gun enough and you are defending Christie who criticizes other Republicans for supporting Constitutional government while he (Christie) supports Democrats and praises Obama.

Chris Christie isn't that bad he's just not super conservative, bible-thumping etc which is why everyone screams about him being a Rhino.

I believe Christie did the right thing. He saved New Jersey from becoming California for a time.

Their politics are a bit different than ours but yes, he did pull out a few wins against the Democrat establishment and the union cronies. Something I wish Schwarzenegger would have kept trying at rather than rolling over and doing whatever they wanted him to do.

granted, it is very early (nobody knew who Zero was at this time in the 08 election cycle) but Christie might be the most electable candidate in the reep field.

Who else would actually win? Santorum? Jeb? pretty low odds on either. I'd vote for Perry but I just bought my first Texas rangers ball cap and eyeing moving there.
