Because we all know, that creating an insurance mandate requirement in order for citizens to exercise fundamental constitutional rights, is going to fly.

Unconstitutional from word one. Will not hold up.

Only well-to-do people will be able to exercise a right. Gun confiscations against the poor only. Would be quite the spectacle.

And how many are actually going to buy insurance?

Insurance to exercise a constitutionally protected right? FU!!!

It's clearly a very, very bad law and almost certainly un-Constitutional. While I take some comfort in the notion that someone like Gura will knock it out of the park, I'm a bit down that it will probably take years of litigation to undo this.

I want Dem representatives to be required to purchase insurance, before holding office, against the damage they are doing to this nation with their ignorant legislation, and ignorance and disrespect of our Constitution!

                        How about:

"Anyone convicted of a felony will be required to buy gun insurance"

leave the rest of us alone
"While it may come as a surprise to the authors of the legislation, most semi-automatic pistols do in fact come with a pistol grip"
Malthusianism is the idea that population growth is potentially exponential while the growth of the food supply is arithmetical at best.

Thank your neighbor and fellow gun owners for passing Prop 63. For that gun control is a winning legislative agenda.
