Way to throw your rank and file under the bus and paint them in a bad light, chief.

    Look, they have windowed PMAGS!
If they have a bunch of those laying around, they could solve the debt crisis today...
Watch the video closely, and marvel at the banality of what evil looks like. A sad collection of chumps, amateurish snake oil salesmen, and questionable fashion sense. But make no mistake, they are now the power in this state.

I don't, but I would love to repost that! Whoever does it should make it square so I can post it on Instagram and also include the other user's summary of why that makes cops look bad.

offense and defense is subjective teh army considers 3 contact conditions

        ambushed
        ambushing
        simultanious discovery

it could be said it all depends on intent

"A gun is an offensive weapon used to intimidate and used to show power..."

Yes, that's exactly what it is, and I want the murderer, rapist, robber, lowlife to feel intimidated and powerless when I excercise my Constitutional right to keep and bear arms in defense of myself and my people...

Obviously the militarization of the police force is going to this clowns head. Well at least they aren't hiding their intentions anymore.

Sadly, just like the PED issue is sports, we're going to have to assume they are all on this power trip. It will take a long time to vet out the good cops, rebuild the departments and restore the public trust.

Only logical conclusion: A police officer's job is to offend, intimidate and/or "show power".

                      What an idiot.
there is some truth to statment 2. I once had a cop pull a gun on me to intimidate me. He slamed my wife face first into the hood of our car. Just to give me a ticket for a seat belt. I beat the ticket in court. All of this happened in front of my house in Martinez, and yes, what an idiot!

If you want the whole story PM me, and to our LE members, most of you do a great job, some of you are kind and understanding. A chp officer once had me dead bang, I was on a bike doing 60 in a 25. the ticket was for 35.

The part that piss's me off most is that youtube page doesnt allow comments. they had no questions or comments from the public.

So that chef is trying to tell me that when One of my closest friends wife was home alone and someone broke into her house and she drew a handgun on him that she was not DEFENDING HERSELF? ( guy was a convicted rapist and got caught a week later ).

For them to make comment in this hearing like Bullet buttons make your ar 15 into an "automatic weapon" and guns are only offensive is OBSURED!

I think they know this comment are the definition or retarded they are just stirring the pot and trying to scare the sheeple who know no better. I wish I was at that hearing to rip them a new *******. Politely of course using facts and being well spoken but non the less rip them a new one

Uh, when I was a cop, I carried my weapon to defend myself, other LEO's, and the residents of the areas were I worked. When it came out of the holster or rack, it was to defend my life or the life of another against a threat, perceived or real. Disregard what Chief Magnus stated because it is not true.

I have NEVER done anything like this before, so please be kind. I know that I suck at it and that my voice recording is bad (I just did it at midnight in my office, which is under my sleeping daughter's room, so I had to talk awkwardly quiet), but hopefully y'all think the points I tried to make come across as reasonable and correct. I'm interested to see what direction the commentary on the video goes. I know it's a political subject, but I tried to stay away from anything that could be deemed "political" or controversial, and stuck what what I believe are reasonable ("common sense" ) points backed up by multiple Supreme Court rulings.

I am disgusted that we most likely took the same oath when we started our law enforcement careers. Apparently the oath for a Chief of Police allows them to espouse patently false information when attempting to sway political policy. He certainly doesn't speak for me or my use of defensive weapon during my 34 year career!
