Non-emergency line maybe?
Start out explaining the problem with generic series bans, explain Harrot decision, ask tthen why the place was raided, and after all that, ask for a supervisor, and explain it all over again.
Start on Monday morning at 9:00 AM (at least let them get their coffee first).

Most likely that wouldn't do any good. Since the seizure has been done. The place to put any effort into now would be with the Riverside County District Attorney's Office. They have the ball and it will their decision as to if they prosecute.sigpicNRA LIFE MEMBERComment

Not sure if this was posted yet, not much new information.
This is from the departments web site, I don't see anything about DOJ's involvement in the bust.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
Jurupa Valley Station
PRESS RELEASE
Date/Time Written: March 7, 2008 / 1700 hours
Type of Incident: Search Warrant
Date/Time of Incident: March 7, 2008 1106 hours
Location of Incident: Glen Avon
Reporting Officer: Sgt. Steve Brown #1310
File Number: E08067030
On March 7, 2008, at 1106 hours, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Jurupa Valley Station Community Action Team, in conjunction with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms executed a weapons violation search warrant at Bright Spot Pawn, located in the 9000 block of Mission Blvd., Glen Avon.
Deputies had received information that sales of illegal AK-47 assault weapons were occurring from the location. Ten Ak-47 style assault weapons were seized that were in violation of California law. Investigation revealed that the rifles had been imported from out of state. No arrests were made. The case will be forwarded to the Riverside County District Attorney's Office for prosecution of the owner for 10 counts of 12280 (b) PC, Possession of an Assault Weapon, and 10 counts of 12280 (a) (1) PC, Importing and or Offering Assault Weapons for Sale. The ATF has an open case, and their investigation is continuing.
I can only see this as being another good example of where the CA DOJ has failed to execute their duties and law abiding citizens continue to suffer for it.
Chris we know you will read this, we are ready to step up and defend you on this.
No one ask anymore questions about where to donate. Gene said he is working on it so when he has the info it will be posted and we will organize a Blackwater Ops style defense.
All we need is some assurances everything was indeed was lawfully configured and this thing will happen. If so this will be one of those cases where we all need to step up to the plate and defend ourselves. Yes this is a defense of us all, not just Brightspot Pawn.www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.Comment

Im definatly in when there defense fund is open. We have to wait and see this monday what will happen. I am sure they have contacted a lawyer but we do not know who yet. when we find out WE as a Community MUST get involved. One attack on one FFL is a attack on all ffls. I know a lot of calgunners have gone to bright spot to get there OLL and if we let them get over us, who knows who they will target next (US, who have bought OLL from Bright spot). We cannot let them do that. When this is all over, at least we know that we can add riverside County and hopefully surrounding counties will be well educated about OLL. To all of you calgunners, spread the word to fellow calgunners about this developing incident so when the time comes to unite we will be there.Comment

Man, I would love to be a case like this. I would so use my 12280(o) exemption as a defense. The bad news for me is Taft PD would never try to pull this stunt and even then the Kern County DA would drop the case before I even had a chance.

Assuming this is an incorrect statement, since BSP knows and follows the law, the RSO has in all likelihood just engaged in a tortious act of business defamation. Could easily have said ". . . suspected to be in violation of California law . . . " but chose instead to make a direct, positive statement. I don't think this is a privileged statement, either, nor do I think that the County of Riverside will have soverign immunity for this statement.
BSP, get together with your counsel and discuss your options for a civil lawsuit for business defamation. Falsely accusing a business of violating the law is defamatory per se.
As for why BATFE was involved, it's in the assertion that these were "AK-47 assault weapons," i.e., FA and subject to the NFA, thus a Federal issue.sigpic

THIS is what I was getting ready to post. It's slander/defamation. They don't use the word "allegedly."
My guess on the ATF isn't yours: I'm betting ATF was there for their "expert advice" on how to go through the books of FFLs.
Major mistake on the part of the RSO posting this on the web.
