Shouldn't we be hitting up Jerry Brown more so then yee? Yee obviously hates gun owners, Brown on the other hand has shown that if a anti-gun law may cause too much legal trouble he won't sign off on it. When he signed that open carry ban, he didn't sign off on the ammo registration because there were already lawsuits for it elsewhere.

I'd called my district's state senator a few years back to express my concern about a piece of pending legislation which I was against. Apparently a lot of other people had called before me. The woman who taking the calls basically attacked me before I could even finish my comment. She said there had been threats against the her, the state senator and his children. She wasn't interested in anything I had to so.

Claiming to be threatened by the "scary gun people" is a tried-and-true approach for ginning up enough "good cause" to get a CCW. Worked for Sen. Don Perata years ago.

That guys obviously does not even know current law. He states that "we need to ban AR-15's and other assault weapons"

Assault weapons are banned and AR-15's are not assault weapons. CA legal AR's that is.
