The whole idea of concealed, is that it can't be seen. Sooo... How would anyone know if you are concealing?

You would also have to have seen the sign and if in a situation when you would have to use the firearm legally, you can do so legally if your life is threatened.

What would have to happen here is, the proprietor would have to see the weapon and alert you of the sign and policy and then tell you to leave. If your refuse, LE could then check you for a weapon.

Guy I work with just got his permit in the mail yesterday. Nothing has changed on the restrictions, just the usual no drinking/no bars thing. All's well for now.

I just found out today that Sacramento County now has a policy of not allowing any LTC if a "No Firearms Allowed" sign is posted.

I just looked on SSD's website and it's posted there.



It's supposedly now being listed as a condition on the actual LTC card, along with the "no alcohol consumption" condition.

Does anyone have any additional info on this?

Has anyone been issued an LTC with this listed on it?

Is this an issue that CGF should address?

Just got mine in the mail Saturday. It only has the 'while consuming alcohol or remaining at an establishment that primarily serves alcohol' restriction printed on it.

Two different permits received within the last week, neither of which have a restriction related to "posted signs." I'd say that pretty definitively shows that this is a non-issue. Thanks to both of you for the recent updates.

As stated before, you might go in to pick up someone to give them a ride.

Also, in some restaurant/bar combinations, you have to go through the bar area to get to the restrooms, or have side entrances through the bar. This allows you that passage.
