As late as possible helps a story blow deadlines for the next day. This is a positive sign.

We're not sure and we may see an omnibus release tomorrow about what happened late tonight - or not...

On the ammo side, I can guarantee that if signed, and before we can win the FAAAA case against it, at least one or two major online ammunition sellers will honor the C&R + COE exemption. The beauty of capitalism is that once they do that it will put a lot of pressure on the rest to do that as well.

I wonder if Jerry Brown actually read any of the 10 emails I sent.

Personally read the emails? Of course not. Somebody gets assigned to tally up the numbers of for vs. against and report back to their superior.

Like they don't auto delete them all.

Very frustrating. My instincts were that he'd sign or veto with no, wishy-washy "let it pass through inaction" approach.

While it is still possible that he'll take last minute action, I honestly don't think he cares that much about 2A rights.

My prediction was that he'd sign them all.

I still hope to be proven wrong.

Remember that 32% of all welfare recipients in the NATION reside in Kalifornia. Plus there are over 250,000 state employees and numerous contractors who have worked for the state for years. Guess how they vote.

there is political capital in a signature or a veto. I doubt he will avoid taking advantage of it.

My guess is that it doesn't look good. He would rather be "friends" to cops than the 2A crowd.
I'm not saying he *will* veto, but it's worth noting that he had a great opportunity to sign them and put 'em in his "Governor Brown Takes Action to Improve Public Safety and Help Law Enforcement " release. The fact that he didn't makes me *guess* (WAG) that he'll either veto or just not take action and let them pass without his signature.

Looks like Brown is going to be the big p***y he is. Not even man enough to sign the bills.

Well the UPS and FedEx drivers are going to be getting some work outs these next two months, thats for sure!
