Watch the mods shut down the thread right when there is some good discussion going on. Calguns, more like CalCompliance.

LOL....guess what? You just did confirm it in your previous sentence. In context and substance.

So..... if a Califoniastan resident has a Nevada CCW... but no Cal CCW.... would the reciprocity law cover that?
Might be the solution to the Califonia problem
The founding fathers did a wonderful thing when they included the second amendment to the constitution...

Reasons armed resistance will never happen in numbers large enough to worry the government.
                1. don't want to lose job
                2. prefer warm bed to cold ground
                3. don't want bank accounts frozen
                4. don't want to risk jail or execution
                5. wife will be mad
                6. retirement plan disrupted
                7. like dinner drinks out after work every Friday
                8. will miss Monday Night Football
                9. prefer steak on the grill to squirrel over a fire
The list goes on and on.
Founding fathers risked everything with a less than certain outcome
We demand a positive outcome without risk

Stating I disregard it is not a direct admission to actually concealed carry. It alludes to the fact but is not a direct admission.

If I had stated "I disregard the law by carrying concealed" that would be a direct admission. The only thing confirmed is a suspicion or suggestion of carrying without permit.

Some state law by my definition is one that has no teeth. What is now law DOES have significant penalty teeth and DOES infringe on the 2nd Amendment.

Good point. Makes sense that it would. I would not expect California to become shall issue. The way they see it is continued denial of resident CCW is just another tool to inconvenience gun owning residents that they consider pariahs.

Fewer than 3% - long guns and 'other' are used in less than 3% of crimes involving firearms, and AR type rifles only make up a fraction of that less than 3%.

                          ^This, this a thousand times.
And now you know why the media is so intent on hyping up any story that fractures people coming together.

America has devolved from a relatively cohesive society to a bunch of tribes.
