While Assemblyman Miguel Santiago introduces legislation that will affect all residents of California, he will not accept any comment from anyone not in his district.

As usual this legislation is designed to for one thing. He wants to get reelected. His office in Los Angeles is (213) 620-4646 if anyone wishes to discuss his legislation as his email is blocked to anyone outside his district.

I just called and spoke with Brandon his staff member on Public Safety. I shared I was a Life Long Democrat who they are losing by this overreaching legislation. Something that affects/effects .00005% of the population is NOT an issue. And that "Blunt Objects" murder 50-70% more people on average every year than rifles of any caliber and any action.

Kill them with Statistics compiled by Kamala Harris and Jerry Brown's AG Administrations.

Everyone was raised at sometime in the church and or temple, appeal to the fact Cain killed Able with a rock, and in 2001 a space Odyssey Ape killed ape for water as soon as he picked up a pig bone to use as a weapon.

Tell them you are a Democrat, that they are losing your vote and they will lose in a landslide this election cycle if continued violation of their oath of office ignored or abused.

You will no longer vote for someone who criminalizes you or a family member.

Do it nicely and politely.

But don't stop with just calling your representative, call the state Democrat party leaders and let them know that you will refuse to support, contribute to, or vote for any Democrat until such time as they drop their gun control agenda, and that you will vote Republican until they do. Make gun control a third rail issue in CA.

Here is what makes sense in sending the most effective message to these people: a HUGE spike in NRA membership in California. While California has over 7,000,000 gunowners we only have 500,000 NRA members.

It's the NRA that is enemy number one in the eyes of OUR enemies. It only costs $25 to send the best and loudest message possible to Sacramento ....

I don't recall 1-in-30 for handguns being challenged. I hate to say it, but I'm not convinced there's that wide an opening for a constitutional challenge because the duration of the delay is rather limited. It's annoying for us law-abiding, sure, but the proponents of this type of law have argued that it limits gun trafficking. To a liberal judge, that would be enough to show it furthers an important government interest.

But that's what I would have said about the 10 day wait, so, what the heck do I know?

we know that it was unconstitutional and now in limbo for the duration. doubtful it will ever see the light of day either.
