Democratic Assemblyman Miguel Santiago of Los Angeles says his AB1674 responds to a trend of Californians purchasing more long guns than handguns in the last decade. He says it makes no sense that anyone can buy as many rifles or shotguns as they want at any time.

I would love to hear his reasoning behind that last comment...

Here is what makes sense in sending the most effective message to these people: a HUGE spike in NRA membership in California. While California has over 7,000,000 gunowners we only have 500,000 NRA members.

It's the NRA that is enemy number one in the eyes of OUR enemies. It only costs $25 to send the best and loudest message possible to Sacramento ....

This legislation doesn't go far enough. They should make it 1 gun per year. Hell, why not make it 1 gun every 5 years????
