I just saw Reno May posted a video on this. Amazing news. Just have to wait for stock to arrive.

California requirements for chamber load indicators are much more onerous than the small orange or red dots, stripes, and tabs most handguns include.

Reference the following link to see an example of a California-compliant handgun model.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The Second Amendment makes us citizens, not subjects. All other enumerated rights are meaningless without gun rights.

That also looks like it would preclude a red dot.

Depends on how you want to mount it. I have a CA SD-9 VE with an RDS. I used a plate that replaces the rear sight. I don't shoot it a ton so I don't know how long it will last but so far the sight has held zero for me.
                    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

But is this right? All the guns on the roster have an expired date of 1/1/2024:

Yes, they always expire Jan. 1 the next year.

May 2024 be the final year of the existence of the California handgun roster.
