What Was Different About Gay Marriage?

Assuming counties, governors, etc. try to move very slowly and make excuses on the decision today (which they are likely plotting to do right now), what makes this decision any different than the 2015 Obergefell gay marriage decision where they were immediately giving out marriage licenses?

I think I know the answer, and that is because the anti gunners only like to follow the rulings they like, but maybe there is something else involved in this ruling that I am missing. People are speculating it might be a long time before permits are being given out everywhere. Why?

Well, dems outnumbered conservatives back then and said all of a sudden two hairy men can be husband and wife. If SCOTUS is ever dem majority they will decide you are only allowed muzzle loaders...and that is not a joke. You will be disarmed.

And we have proof positive what a mess that homosexual decision as been. Homosexual marriage gave us the transqueer mess and that will give us the normalization of pedophilia. But, from talking with people, if and when the USA ever goes extraconstitutional, there will be reparations, equity and justice paid back for destroying America.

Best protection in a massive SHTF is for each group to balkanize and stay within their utopias.

They were giving away gay marriage licenses next day because they wanted to, not because they had to. That’s the entire difference.
Nobody is forbidding sheriff of, say, my Contra Costa County to switch to shall issue policy today. But they don’t, and instead are “aware and studying” the SC division.

I have my ccw so I'm gtg but if I didn't I start carrying immediately. Chances are no one would ever know. And if I did get popped by cops the matter would be settled before I ever saw a court date. Just my opinion.

Why OP? Government no longer is unbiased and unprejudicial, it has its own ideology. They aren't about to light up their capitols with Yellow of the Gadson flag or proclaim "armed self defense is now the law of the land!". Nope, but lighting up capitols with rainbow colors should tell you all that you need and who runs government.

It states that carrying a HANDGUN in public is a constitutionally protected right, but doesn't define a preferred method. I also allows for regulation through licensing, as long as that licensing is "shall issue".
