So no we wait for the next total solar eclipse, or something equally rare, right? How long has Duncan been pending after oral argument? It has been a very long time...I assume that the Ninth, knowing that the days of its revolt against the decisions of the Supreme Court are numbered, are simply sweeping these cases under the rug until SCOTUS forces them to rule.

Duncan was argued 3/20/2024 so it's been about 7 months. It's ripe for a ruling.
Teter was argued 6/25/2024 so it's been 4 months.

But it doesn't matter because there's a stay on the law in place so we get freedom until it's heard.

This case should be able to get started again now that there is a ruling in Duncan, but it might stop again if Duncan is taken up by SCOTUS.
