      Shhhhhhhhhh!

All the gold and silver bugs appear to be sleeping.

I guess they rest easy because good and silver "have nowhere to go but up...".

I'm not a gold or silver bug, but I wish someone here could tell me how much longer I have to save my pennies before gold and silver fall to "great buy" prices (or at least clarify whether we're not already at "great buy" levels). I'd really like to get a good buy when I finally do plunk down some cash.
        Regarding the 2nd Amendment:
"...to disarm the people ― that was the best and most effectual way to enslave them." George Mason ("The Father of the Bill of Rights")

        Regarding Life and Death:
"Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28

The BIG question: "What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ?" Matthew 27:22b

Do your own research first, but I believe that gold and silver have begun to consolidate as they have both broken out of long term bear market wedges. I think the price will bounce around while they finish this consolidation but without large swings up or down. If you can get gold at 1190 or less, it will probably be a good price going forward. Silver would be good at 15.25 and lower. Look for deals that you can purchase for less than 1.00 over spot on silver.

Well I decided to recycle my old computer hard drives and old circuit boards. So far out of 2 hard drives I've collected .25 ozt. of Gold.

Pins, and any small device in the circuit board with a C-XX is mad of 24kt Gold.

I have another 6 hard drives and half a dozen boards. The magnets inside the hard drives are very strong. I'll use the platters for target practice next time I'm at the range.

.62 Troy ounces of gold pins was recovered from 8 hard drive circuit boards @ .22kt a $694.80 in a couple of hours.
I'll melt it down and pour a round or bar.

What chems did you use to do this? I've watched a few YouTube videos on the process but it looks terribly cost inefficient and time consuming. What's your viewpoint on this?

YES. I'll extract the gold via nitric acid.

Yes, sorry to say there is way less than 0.62 oz. of gold there. That's all plated.

If that much was actually in 8 hard drive circuit boards, the gold would cost more than all the other materials, let alone manufacturing the drives.

It might be more cost effective, and lucrative to pan your local creek... ... ...

                                $14.93 silver right now...
                                $14.89......82...
