My RMA multi curve III+ (1092) plates arrived yesterday.

They are a tight fit but do fit in the slickster.

Really glad I got the multi curve.

I thought the thickness would be more pronounced but it's not too bad, IMO.

Might want to do some more research before trusting your life to those Battle Steel Plates.

I just saw that they are marketed largely by Botach - a company that has a highly questionable record, for sure.

This very recent Reddit thread raises some very serious concerns with the plates.

Has anyone tested them? Anyone NOT being paid to test them?

Honestly I'd be concerned about such inexpensive armor. Corners have to be cut somewhere...

Botach's site says they ARE imported, at least for the LVL IV. Don't see why the III's would be any different.

"Battle Steel" at Botach seems to have their name slapped on literally EVERYTHING from t-shirts to money clips to bags, pick & brush gun cleaning kits, etc.

Sounds really suspect to me.

When it is hot, vests are a non breathable item..

A mesh shirt for wearing under your armor so you might get a little heat relief
