How about orange camouflage?

I heard from my instructors at the hunters education that later in the season, the smarter animals learn to run from big blocks of the same color (hunters orange, which they see as brown).

So I am thinking, what if I get some orange camouflage? Should blend me into the background for bichromate game, but other hunters will know not to shoot the tool wearing nothing but orange.

Or did I just have stupid instructors?

Makes sense to me although I only shoot once I've clearly determined what my target and surroundings are. Some wisp of a thing in a bush isn't a target to me.

Wear your orange. I suggest either a hat or a vest. Worry about your scent and to hunt into the wind. The smarter animals break out of their summer pattern and go nocturnal or move to a new area if pressured at the start of hunting season.

Ha, thanks for the heads up that it really isn;t necessary to avoid detection from game...

Most of us here (meaning CGN) agree. But wwwaaayyyyy too many bozos out there can't think that well.

In some states, orange camo isnt legal. You must have a certain amount of blaze orange on. I use a orange camo vest here for deer hunting. Just so my hunting party and others can see me.

Isn't it true that no matter what your color of camo, when the fabric is washed enough it will lose it's UV anti reflection qualities? And then it looks like one big block of color to a game animal anyway?
