What's in your emergency supplies in your car?

I'm wondering what others keep in their car.

    I keep the following:
    *1. $40 cash
    *2. 1 bottle of water
*3. first aid kit (bandaids, antibiotic packets, alcohol wipes)
    *4. swiss army knife
    5. flash light
    7. plastic bags

The ones with (*) means I've used those items many times.

      LOL...that's probably the ejection seat.

All I have in my vehicle is a crappy flashlight and a folding tire iron. It doesn't even have a radio. That being said, if it burst into flame on the side of the road, I would have no problem simply walking away...
Just taking up space in (what is no longer) the second-worst small town in California.

It cannot be inherited, nor can it ever be purchased.
You and no one alive can buy it for any price. It is impossible to rent and cannot be lent.
You alone and our own have earned it with...Your sweat, blood and lives. You own it forever.

My GHB, water, small folding shovel, flares, fire extinguisher, Kukhri, smaller blades, warm clothes, small radio with earphones, maps, compass, hiking boots, flashlights & fire starters.

That's some of it. There's more.

Not a secret, it was some kid stuff (change of clothes, diapers, wipes), I figure it may not be important for most folks.

The Essentials. Plan on camping in your car.

Especially if a Giant Earthquake happens here in La La Land. Which is entirely possible.

                    1. Map of Southern California. (out of the Road Atlas)
                    2. Compass (in the handle of my knife)
                    3. Flashlights (two)
                    4. Extra Food. I admit to only a couple of Granola Bars..arrg..need more
                    5. Extra Clothes. Overnight change. Fresh everything. Including tennis shoes
                    6. Sunglasses. And an extra pair of Wally World reading glasses.
                    7. First-Aid Kit. Basic
                    8. Pocket Knife. An old Swiss plus a knife with serrated edge and compass -9. Waterproof Matches. Wind proof as well. Might have to build a fire?..
                    10. Firestarter. One tube. But it leaks like bad toothpaste. I think I threw it out.
                    11. Water. a 12 pack of Sparkletts. still in shrink wrap
                    12. Whistle
                    13. Insect Repellents and a floppy hat
                    14. Sunburn Preventatives. I need aluminum foil..LOL
                    15. I always have at least 300 cash on me and probably 8 bucks in quarters in the car.
                    16. American Express Card and several Visa Cards, Starbucks card. On me at all times. (Starbucks is a must have, right after the GLOCK)
                    17. Cell phone at all times.
                    19. A small tarp (old rain fly from a tent)
                    20. A small pillow
                    21. A Sleeping bag from Costco.
                    22. A lot of this stuff is in a plastic bucket with a rope handle.
                    23. Some rope/line
                    24. 2 large trash bags/ several one gallon zip lock bags. One roll of TP, one roll of Paper Towels, one flexible package of Diaper Wipes.
                    25. Tooth brush, shaving gear, soap, smell good stuff. plastic brush. In a plastic zip lock.
                    26. the rest of this stuff is in a square plastic bin with lid. The Bin and Bucket stash in the TRUNK no problem.
                    27. A locked briefcase from Staples that holds a GLOCK 20 and 6 Magazines.
(all 15 round, with Double-Tap Zombie Ammo)
                    28. I keep the tank as full as I can. I always have enough gas to get home if the overpasses don't collaspe during the Earthquake.
                    29. No backpack yet. I plan on getting a soft backpack in case I have to move out on foot, over to the nearest Holiday Inn Express.
May the Bridges I burn light the way.

Life Is Not About Waiting For The Storm To Pass - Its About Learning To Dance In The Rain.

Fewer people are killed with all rifles each year (323 in 2011) than with shotguns (356), hammers and clubs (496), and hands and feet (728).
