I finally got dinged (credit card got charged) for the Busse BB13 I have been waiting for. Should ship soon. Had zero idea how I would get a sheath for it, but AZ WELKE just put up Kydex for it, so problem solved.

Picked up a ZT0392PURBLKWC this week. So sexy!

I picked up the Busse BB13 Battle Grade at UPS today. Pretty huge blade, but not that heavy. 21.62 ounces. Pretty good timing on the kydex. AZWelke shipped it yesterday. Black Kydex for a black knife. Here's some pics... the group pic is with a SYCKO 1111, Dog Father and MountainMandu... weights are pretty similar except the MMD is around 25 ounces. 20.88 for the Dog Father and 20.92 for the 1111. BB13 is thinner 3/16"

I know Charles and think he's an awesome guy. I've got a couple of his customs including a custom Bulldog with Ti bolsters and CF scales like this Boker was modeled after, but it's too valuable to carry and beat on, so I'm excited to get this in my pocket! It looks like a lot of knife for the money!

I've got a 941-D2CF (http://www.arizonacustomknives.com/9...de-169310.aspx ) that I've carried for years as my around the house knife. It's the only non custom I carry on a regular basis. It is an AWESOME design!

I think ththe 781 Anthem lines up pretty well with my 941 as far as overall design goes, but adds in a full Ti integral frame, C20V blade and bearings in the pivot with the ever popular Axis lock. It's certainly expensive for a production knife, but in light of the current price of Mid Tech knives and the hot new IG crowd (I don't do IG) of CNC makers charging thousands for similar designs, it seems like it might be a value. I know for many, a $500.00 pocket knife is a stretch to imagine at all, never mind seeing it as a value. It's all a matter of perspective.

That's a sweet looking blade. 3.66 ounces is pretty light. $500? I'd probably get a ZT 0452 for $200 first. The Benchmade shaves an ounce off, but the ZT is a 4.1" blade.

You really pay for that single piece billet. I love the Axis... but my Contego was only $140, and my Presidios might be heavier, but they are tanks.
