Nice. If they could bring back the 711 and preferably the bowie tip variant (better still, desert camo with tan res-c) that would be a great offering.

Busse is getting way too fancy with the shapes and angles IMHO... back to basics with just a little flair would sell a ton of blades.

I asked AZWelke if he has this one because I want a pronounced thumb ramp to unsheath this one. His thumb breaks are the best IMHO.

North Arm Mallard - MagnaCut super steel. Stock is only .060. Fantastic bird and trout knife!

It was just an old plywood boat, with a '75 Johnson, with electric choke. A young boy, two hands on the wheel, I can't replace the way it made me feel.

North Arm is nice stuff. I never see them. I bought a S35VN fillet knife as a gift from them once and it looked great with nice Kydex.

It is a good CA auto, meaning probably a backup box opener... BLADE OPS has the black and camo on sale now. Now if we weren't in CA, there is a Mini-Kalash 2.5" on sale in S30V for $55... but these fit the bill if you want something CA legal, side-opening, button-lock, with a maxed out spring. Nothing to complain about except the state we live in.

Gorgeous custom piece made from a MORA blank by our very talented, NapalmCheese. Thanks for making this one! This is a unique and stunning "MORA". The weight balance and materials are perfection... very hand filling compared to a regular MORA. I actually found a spare sheath that fits it like a glove - even if the style is a mismatch.

I'm glad you like it! That sheath really does fit surprisingly well.

Not a seam to be felt anywhere on that handle or gaps in the guard/blade fit... awesome work.

Yeah, that was the 3rd unused sheath I tried... I got lucky. That sheath was a spare for a Hard Edge Knives (Kelley Ward) Kwaiken with a Turk's Head guard that I have Kydex for.

Tom Mayo designed Wingman EDC. I love Tom's designs. He's a friend of mine and one of the coolest guys you'd ever want to meet. I have a handful of customs from him as well as several Buck Mayo collaborations. As I understand it, the Wingman collection is a group of collaborations that my fiend Sako, who owns the Recon1 retail knife shop in Encino, has put together with several high demand makers to allow folks to own super cool designed knives from some of the best makers around at a fraction of their custom prices. This particular piece is based on Tom's Dr. Death Jr. model, but incorporating Lee William's Kickstop flipper mechanism. Both Tom and Lee's knives sell for well over $1K and the custom collabs they've done in the past are well over $2K on the secondary market. In this case, the Wingman version sells for a bit under $400.00. That's expensive for a production knife, but the fit and finish is nearly perfect, it runs on ceramic bearings and features M390 super steel for the blade. I think it's a bargain! Blade length is 3.25" and the 3D contoured Ti scales are comfortable in the hand. It flips like lightening! It has a hardened steel lock face insert and the lockup is perfect. This is definitely going into my EDC rotation.

I like that flipper tab... beefy (angles remind me of a Sinkevich flipper like on my 0452CF which is perfect, but even bigger), and hidden when open. Yeah man, everyone has different priorities, or maybe it is just random for me hahah. I just spent that much on three dupes of a GEC traditional I found in stock. They are not to be found usually... probably because jerks buy more than one.

Tom Mayo stuff looks pretty awesome.

If you don't have a Mayo, be it a custom or production variant, you're missing out. Tom is one super cool guy and his designs are sublime. He spent many years shaping surfboards and the lines come across in his knives. They are sleek, but also built from top shelf materials that are designed for real work. They are usually minimalist frame lock folders made from premium materials. He makes some called either Coverts or Black Ops that are completely non magnetic using Ti frames, Ti hardware and Stellite 6K blades which are a Cobalt matrix with lots of carbides, but no iron. Tom is a cool cat and makes awesome knives, whether customs or collaborations like this knife.

I have a T shirt from him that has the tag line:

Rock Hard Tools Disguised as Art

                                Good stuff!
