Typically, liner locks and cheaper materials but they do have some steel frame locks like the Mini Elementum and the NOx. I have a couple of the Ortis liner locks. Very smooth knives with a good detent and nice fit and finish.

A step up from CJRB and a step down from WE... IMHO

Those Civivi knives are pretty nice. I have a couple that I use for EDC

Went shooting with a MLC member a month ago.. He whips out his xmas present from his son only to find out it was the same knife I was carrying that day.

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Love my elementum, although I would like to try the black stonewash blade finish to see if it holds up better against corrosion.

Sorry, but I'm going to pass on knives made from Chinesium. I don't care if they are well made of decent materials and nice designs. Supporting Chinese manufacturing is hurting our country.

          Enjoy your Cold Steel/WE/Civivi knives.

I'm sticking to Zero Tolerance, USA made Benchmade and Spyderco, or customs.

          YMMV.

I totally agree with this attitude, but I have exceptions because I want to see for myself what they are able to do for $50. Not a great excuse, but I feel like 99% of my knives are USA made or countries other than CHINA and that works for me. I could do better, I admit it.

Pricey. I guess not far off BUSSE Custom Shop considering BUSSE doesn't provide a sheath in most cases.

Found a decent deal on a Zero Tolerance 0357. Pricey for me but I've always wanted a ZT and this model dips into my price limit. So far seems just the right size and weight for EDC for me.
