Don't leave it in the car or exposed to any element, the plastic frame will shrink and crack. Mine cracked all the way through right at the pivot. Other than that it was a sharp ergonomic and smooth Big5 find. Feels like it rides on phos bronze bushings even though it rides on cheapo plastic rings. That what a lot of cheapo knives do... seem great until the day you need a knife.Leave a comment:

Theses were made in the 70's. There were I think 3 models in the series. Coleman even had a engraved edition that was I think the 701.
Long out of production.

Nice. I had a 701 I bought in the 70's. When I no longer hunted I sold it to a guy at a Fresno gun show for 4 times what I paid for it. He was thrilled to buy it. Just watch when you draw the knife the blade doesn't cut the strap. I had to modify mine to not do that.
Happy hunting buddy.

I picked up an S&W Special Tactical knife a few weeks. Very happy with it so far. Nice quality for the money.Leave a comment:

I just pickup another Buck 110, this one's the automatic version. I've had about 6 of these 110s over the years, this one's as good as it gets for the 110s I have had.
I'll post up some pictures when I get home.Leave a comment:
