That may not be cheap enough for you, but remembered your post and just thought it was worth mentioning.
Appreciated, thanks. I really love that type of CF, but thought the blade was 4" or closer to the 0452, but really that knife is Benchmade Bugout sized. I mostly use the 0808 and 0450 when I need a smaller blade and just got the 0456BW - not small or light really but it is around 3.4 (3.25 advertised).

Maybe I will look for something else with that CF in the future. Just got the 0055 and did pull the trigger on a WE 617 black blade with green G10 when I saw them hit $82 shipped... that's a hell of a lot of knife for $80... ceramic bearings, etc... interested to see how they are.

That's one of the budget knives that scares the hell out of USA manufacturers like Benchmade IMHO... and will be good for consumers.

I like knives that have two fat 3D titanium slabs, but the 0456 could be pretty light with a CF side. I do love the titanium scaled 0456BW's looks and action... weight in pocket seems fine - have it today. If a 0909 doesn't bother you, not much will.

Did read that the Ti clip mine came with is popular and the stock one supposedly creates a hot spot which it corrects, but have only used the Ti one. Only thing I did was loctite it and tighten it. Glad it was included though as it looks like these cost $45 - $149 shipped for the new condition knife was a deal. Did come from a pawn shop in FL so who knows the history. The Ti is bronze colored which KIND OF matches the BW. At least a decent contrast.

Custom made titanium deep carry pocket clip for Zero Tolerance ZT knives, it's made of 6al-4v titanium. The clip comes with 2 T6 Titanium Torx Screws (Knife is not included). This Pocket Clip Fits: ZT0550 (2nd Generation) ZT0560/ZT0561 ZT0808 ZT0450 ZT0456 ZT0095 & ZT0095BW

Nice one. 0350's are fun. I had one like that with a satin blade.

I like the "heft" of the smallish 0456 in its original configuration. Same applies to the tiny 0900 that I just received. On the other hand, the 0804CF and 0850 just make both sense in CF in terms of looks and weight.
COMPARO PICS of those please. Side by side for scale. 0456 and 0900, etc... that's one Les George design I never bought or handled.

Just open it past the detent and you can quickly flick it open the rest of the way.

It only cost $8 and would make terrific box cutting EDC. It is also comparable to and usable in a manner similiar to various Spyderco "self defense" knifes that own (at a mere fraction of the price)
Thanks for the pic! Yeah that's a decent utility knife, not a $1 model

I got my BHQ order... pretty fast. Geeesh the 0055 is a beautiful machine. Kind of reminds me of a 2-stage trigger where you are taking up the slack to find the wall and fire. Strong detent makes it fun.

Comparo with some other ZT's - it is pretty big

Definitely check it out in person and handle it before you pay to ruin the makers intended design. IMHO, it is about as multi-dimensional as you can get in person. Many unique angles and 3D milling from any angle even the lock bar side is interesting with the flipper tab's nested design into the lockbar, etc... one of the most interesting ZT's IMHO. Definitely adds color, but I prefer the ano where the entire scale is tinted rather than racing stripes. I have seen that guy's modded stuff on EBAY. Definitely makes something look custom to have the Ti side of a CF framelock colorized.

Customization of guns is a prime example of this potential marketability "problem." No such problem w/standard OEM offerings, as boring as they might be.
You know what's not boring? TRADITIONALS. Colorful too. You have any? GEC 15's are pretty great.

The 0900 seems much smaller and lighter than the 0456 than the specs suggest and weighs more than the Talon
Wow, the 0900 is a unique size. The Talon is cool. I had a black blade 0566CF and it was a great size to carry anytime, pretty slim but not very grippy. Flipper kind of bugged me, maybe needed gimping and not a soft opener like a 0350. Overall probably my favorite assisted opener.

Been on a little bit of a binge....

So I picked up this oak machinist's tool box to store/secure my knives in. Vintage 1940's construction.

Liong Mah Warrior 2 & Kizer Shoal. I'm REALLY liking both, but the Shoal is exceptionally impressive given its price-point. Beautiful to look at, hold & flip.

Next up is by far my favorite flipper: Boker Kwaiken x2. Both have marble CF scales. The duplex blade on top is the smoothest & fastest flipper I've ever felt. A true pleasure to manipulate.

Next up are my new Kershaws. 2 Leeks & a Natrix in copper. Nice little blades.

Last (so far) is my SpyderCo Para2 w/ linen micarta scales & my Kizer Splinter. The SpyderCo is a beast. The Splinter is an exceptional flipper at its price-point & is a pleasure to fondle.
