Whats your latest knife purchase?

That's a solid slab of knife. I love my black one in M4. Is the G10 still brutal on that model? I sanded mine to break the edges.

The G10 is fine. No sharp edges whatsoever. This is a very nice and beefy knife.

Yeah someone said that about my 0450 once and then I showed them the flipper is part of the blade... then they said "someone reinterpreted the law". Seems silly to knife guys, but I bet you can remember the first time you saw a flipper.

I love ZT's. They do need a change of pocket clip sometimes though. My 0452 wears a larger 0801 clip... IMHO the 0450 and 0808 need a upgrade too, but I have not bothered with those two yet. The 0452 actually flips much better for me with the larger clip shielding the lockbar/detent - but probably not a huge deal after it has been worn in now. Strong detents are one of the reasons I love ZT's. I have Benchmades that are not AXIS locks which almost seem unsafe.

He had his Kershaw Blur out at the same time. He actually thought it was illegal because its so smooth. He thought it was an assisted open. Told him there's no spring just a detent and a bearing. First time he tried to open it he couldn't.

I need to get a 801 clip for my 452. Was looking at the 801 today and the deep carry clip is definitely nicer. Next purchase will be another 804 before they are fully sold out. Then another 452, then the 562's.

I cannot recall anyone new to flippers being able to get one open all the way the first time I let them try. Assisted openers no problem. I love the 0801 so much I'll probably kick myself for not getting a 0804.

Yeah Kershaw/ZT are really good about sending you parts for free. They won't acknowledge your request by email in my experience, you just fill out the form and a few days later it arrives in the mail. I'm good with that though, no need for pleasantries

That is true. Parts always show up. Benchmade is just as good in that dept too. Both will back the knife you bought. Benchmade has more issues out of the box though, IMHO (comparing ZT to Benchmade). Chinese Kershaws have many minor but expected issues.
