Walmart update(s)....?

A lot of .40 left... Blazer, WWB, Personal Protection, 1 UMC bulk pack. 3 Remingontin 550 .22 and many federal bulk .22.

no 9mm or 45.

PLENTY rifle and shotgun,.

Foothill Ranch and Laguna Niguel had some .40 left. I cleaned out the 9, .357 and .38. Lots and lots of federal shotgun ammo. No .45

Is there a reason people are "clearing out" all calibers as if there won't be any in there in a month???

From what I've seen there is no shortage of ammo... just stocking up last moment kind of thing or... ? am I missing some legislation that is on the table here ?

just curious but what does walmart carry in terms of .44 magnum (do they carry .44 spl also)?

Wally's Westminster

I went to get some 40 S&W Blazer at Wally's Westminster.

The shelf was half empty I saw:

about 10 boxes of 223 Rems
about 10 W's 9mm luger
about 10 more of the 40sw Blazers
a couple of 22lr Rems 500 rds
no 45s

some other calibers, but only concentrated on these list of ammo.

ask guy who work in Walmaret, he said"NO 45acp in warehouse ",and they will ship all orther caliber soon should be in mid Feb.

I just picked up 5 boxes of 100rnd WWB in San Jacinto store. 4 left, the guy said he had like 40 boxes this morning and that was all that was left. They had 1 box of blazer brass in 9mm. Lots of 40 (20+ boxes), they had some 45 auto too in both WWB and blazer brass.

My neighbor was at the hemet store looking for .22 and the chick said some guy just bought $1800 worth of ammo and took all the 22s.

Called milpitas this morning, and was told, they had some cci mini mags in stock, so I hot footed it over there. I get there and they didn't have NADA!!! So I noticed they had remington 00 buck value packs, So I bought the last six on the shelf. I then go to customer service to see if they can check if another wallyworld had any in stock, well they called gilroy, which had some. The customer serivce chick was super cool by the way, gave me directions and eveything. Any how, I then drove out to gilroy, and low and behold, not only did they have a lot of mini mag HP, but a lot of regular mini mag and they had WWB 9mm in stock, not vaue packs, but hey for a buck difference, I won't argue. So I cleared the shelves of mini mags, but I did leave some
9mm WWB on the shelf. and when I was paying another customer bought a box a mini mags by accident and your unable to return ammo, so he just gave them to me!!

It was a good day today. Milpitas was cleared out, only 40 cal left and a lot of 17hmr, but gilroy had 9mm 115gr and 147 jhp WWB and some other larger caliper stuff.

While I was at the customer service counter The giel that was helping me said some guy came in that morning and bought 50 of the same remington 00 buck value packs! Those six where the only ones left. and while at gilroy, they had just put that ammo up, because I took the empty cartons that the smaller boxes came in.

I went there today too, but i was looking for calibers i needed. all they had at milpitas was 17 hmr, some shot shells, 40s&w, and some 25 auto. it was such a waste.

may have seen a few calgunners there, there were about 6 people crowded around the shelves trying to find whats left.

Went to Vacaville WM yesterday. Vacaville had 7.62 x 39 Winchester loads, ..40 SW and .22lr minimags. Other odd size loads, but no 9mm, .223 loads etc.
