      Absolutely--
Have you used the paper trick for the finishing depth?

BTW the KNS TDP is tight once upper is in place
The hole lines up great but PITA to drive it to the upper. The upper is Milspec and lower depth is untouched machined by supplier, .627 .631 getting some different measurement.

Very impressive job! I just picked up the cerakote kit and a used lab oven. I'm pretty happy with how the cerakote went. How hard was it apply in the duracoat? Is it a baked finish too? The finish looks great!

You think it could be seen as an attempt to turn it into a full auto lower?

Not hard at all, four TS and half hardener, that all you need. this would cover three coats for entire rifle. use 40pci pistol and Compressor. Apply each time for entire part, wait 10min repeat as nessasary. After 24 hours you may touch or assemble, I kept it for five days. After that its good to touch/oil and shoot. GL

I think they are talking about the primer you stuck to your lower to indicate the fire possition above your safety lever. a hole in the reciever there in that location is where the hole would be for the auto sear pin in an m16.

some would say a hole in that location is a bad idea. i would not have a hole
there on my lower even if it were covered up.

That looks really nice, walls are nice and smooth. So a drill press is pretty much a must huh? I was thinking about doing one with just a dremel and a pocketknife

ATF says that a hole up there makes it a machine gun, regardless if you put in the sear or not.
Just the HOLE makes it a machine gun.
