Well done, sir! That looks awesome.
I have two waiting to be done on my drill press. I'm not so intimidated now.

What jig/lower did you use for this build?

I don't see an x-y table, how did you get the walls so smooth without one?

The end mill round area runs along the top jig as a guide which makes everything straight and smooth.

Getting the correct size end mill is imperative - My first one i made the mistake of have too large of a cutting area on the end mill.

Second time I had the correct size and it worked like a charm. nice and smooth.

So you're unclamping and just pushing the vise around the table??? I wouldn't have thought of that, had too much experience with unclamped drill press vises doing their best to maim me...

I didn't use an XY or vise for my second one I just made sure to raise the table about 1mm at a time and take it slowly and let the end mill do the work. Very little chatter that way and smooth as a baby's butt!

Just make sure you go clockwise, wear gloves and keep a tight hold with plenty of wd40 on the end mill.
