    Yugos!

Picked up a yugo kit from apex for a buddy to help him build....and one for me lol I couldn't stand the thought of helping him build one and me not getting one. Plus since I'm gonna be buying the 1.5mm die for bending flats I figure it makes sense right? Although. ..I think I may have a problem..... naaahhhh
And is it just me....or do you get a little thrill from pulling the parts out of the bag and visualizing the end result.....and what it once was? Have to say I have heard good things about these yugos and I already think its my new favorite...lots of little differences and extra attention to detail it seems. ... will keep y'all updated on progress here's a teaser for now

The Yugos I have built are some of my favorites. Built like tanks! Shoot well too.
    Congrats.

Love me some Yugo that's for sure.
Have fun with the build, and the finished rifle.
Like I have said," There are AKs, There are AKMs..........And then there are Yugos. No comparison".

My current project was going to be an M70.

Then "Lucy" (Romy RPK with her name carved in the stock) came along.

        Dammit.
Anyway...here's a dearth of reasoning to ponder: http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Guns

Watch out. Soon she'll be shooting up all your ammo, and instead of nagging, "Do you really need another one???" the nag will be, "So is it built yet So I can shoot it."
Don't ask me how I know although a man could have much worse issues in his life

ok….so the m70 has the rear receiver sling swivel….do the tabs just fold in and slip out of the slot (to get it out of the cut receiver bits) and then just slip em into the new receiver and fold flat again?

Let me add to this that they are heat treated so will crack if not annealed before you bend them straight (don't ask me how I know ).
Remove rear trunnion, pistol grip nut, and trigger guard from old receiver stub then take a torch to it.
Get those tabs glowing orange then allow to cool slow.
                      No cracking

Another option is once the receiver is stripped use a cut off wheel to cut a slot up to the bottom of the sling tab, then just slide it out through the slot you cut....
                          Poke'm with a stick!
