I would but I am a noob here and not sure if anyone would trust me with funds. But as soon as a senior member steps up. I was looking at getting a RI but if you are serious about this... I am going to hold off on the RI. What are you looking to get for these retail? What are looking to get with a group buy in order for it to be worth ti for you? Also we are going to need a jig for it as well.

I am sold and going to pick one up as soon as you release it... so I am in. Missed out on the Ares one but this sound a little better as I think you can find grip frames that use the single and double stack if I am not mistaken. Again... I am new to the 2011 platform.

Oh man, my wife got mad at the last 2 group buys I did. We will have to see. If there is enough interest, time frame is write and EVERYBODY doesn't freak out like some other unmentionable GBs lately. I might be up for it.

Why are group buys even necessary? Because some of us are cheap? If one is truly interested, put up a deposit for preorder. The preorder price can be lower than the release price. Putting up a small non-refundable deposit is how you weed out flakes. Bestbuys and numerous other companies have been doing pre-orders for ages. All most require is a small deposit to get you in line.

Usually GB help lock in a price with the attained goal. But either way I am game. Sooner the better. However we still need a jig to go with it.

We've seen group buys where Paypal accounts get locked because some people can't follow directions. We've also seen payments of money orders or checks get lost in the mail. There were also lost shipments and having not paid for insurance by the shipper, people were asked to chip in to pay for the lost shipment. Does anyone really want to go through that BS?

Think about how long it takes to process an order. Now times 100.
