hard to tell from the pics but im guessing the mag is sitting too low since the bolt is riding over the round and not stripping it.....hopefully hoozaru can help you out or you can return it....

Put the gun on a table and give it some downward pressure (with a mag in place) while letting the bolt carrier fly.
If it strips and chambers the round then you'll know for sure it's a mag height issue. Do that first and get back with the results.
Also, grab your cleaning rod and make sure the follower moves up and down without catching on anything.

The others, well......they just never learn.

I need to see it, I have an idea what it might be but impossible to check without the gun here. Try sliding the bolt without the carrier with a mag locked in. It could be those idiots at IO may have the rails too high or the ejector wasn't trimmed and is pushing the bolt to one side. Does that happen on both sides of the mag?
                  Get some commie steel mags.

                      rule number 1

do not chamber live rounds in your house

                      rule number 2

friends dont let friends buy IO casars

take it back , get a refund , buy a saiga or WASR

Looks like the mag is probably sitting too low, can you put up a picture of the magazine catch. Between the receiver and the trigger guard 4 rivet mount. There may be a gap.

You guys beat me too it. I recently fixed a build that was like that, had to re do the trigger guard and remove some material from the safety catch.
