No harm done. My field weapons have seen a whole lot of rain water, as well as mud, snow ect. all still fired and functioned flawlessly. Especially m92's, I cant see how any weapon the military/LE would use could be effected by something as simple as a bit of toilet water(or 10 hrs of toilet water). Though I believe you did the smart thing by confirming its safety before taking it to the range. Kudos to you sir, and congrats on your amazing purchase. Im sure you will have zero issues.

Maybe go a little farther than field stripping
Clean out the firing pin and extractor holes
WD 40 displaces water really well but you want to hit it with CLP after

                      Cell phone trick

Trick they use when cell phone gets wet will probably work to get any remaining water you did not get to..

Trick is to place the item in a sack of rice for few days. The rice will naturally obsorb any and all moisture.. after that give it good clean lube and you should be good to go.

$50 bucks ...that seems like insane deal... you sure she didn't poop on it too? emmm.. still a good deal as long as it doesn't smell like poop everytime you shoot it... lol

You could have pulled it from the toilet, dropped some CLP on it & fired away. These are service pistols...they're made to take a beating.

Your friend got robbed at $50, I don't blame you, I would have stole it too at that price.

It was in the toilet for over 10 hours; while he was working. He didn't want it after it got wet , he is afraid to use it now. I have already field striped it and lubed it. Is there anything else I need to do before I take it to the range?

When I got my 1911 from my dad it was so dirty I washed it with soap and hot water (soaking it for hours) then lots of Hops #9 and it still works
