PSL kits

The rear trunnion rivets, trigger guard rivets, and swell neck rivets are the same. The regular front trunnion rivets are longer. I compared my bags of rivets from AK-Builder.com

Are you sure about those rear trunnion rivets being the same? I think the PSL uses larger diameter and longer rivets.

Crap! Sorry, no the rear trunnion rivets for the PSL need to be longer. What I meant to say is that the AK-Builder rivet set for the Yugo (can be used for the PSL) was identical as the standard AKM set except for the front trunnion rivets.

Well, I thought I got my order from TGI. I opened the box tonight and instead of 2 PSL kits there's only one. I see there's no magazine, I guess I had to order one separately and neglected to do so. I've been sending them emails asking them to call me but no response. I ordered 2 receivers on the phone shortly after ordering the kits online. Now I would really like to know if they are going to send another kit and if the order for the receivers went through. I hadn't heard any complaints about TGI before but I'm a little worried that maybe they're going out of business or something.

Hey at least you got one kit. I have two on order and talked to Ryan yesterday and was told that my kits would ship that day and I would receive a tracking # via e-mail. So far nothing. What ticks me off is that people who ordered the truck guns days after I ordered my first PSL kit have already received a tracking #.

BTW, the kits are supposed to come with 1 10 round magazine so you should be sure to ask for that when you call about your other kit. Did they charge you for 2 kits on your CC?

I ordered the Romanian. I want to use the original stock since 69Mach1 indicated (in this thread) that a standard AK stock has too much drop & you will have to raise you head consequently loosing a good cheekweld.

Although, if I was going to build a carbine version I'd use an AK stock. I think the original PSL stock would look a little funky.

TGI is having their annual Audit by ATf acording to Gunboards, so they might be a little delayed/busy dealing with those inspectors

Hmm annual audit? You do know that the ATF hauled away a crapload of material from TGI right? That doesn't sound like the usual audit to me. I see they they just listed a PSL truck gun so maybe our kits got turned into those instead of shipping to us. At least they haven't charged my CC yet.
