    AK Flat Bending/Build help

Was wondering how many people near the San Diego area have the tools to help me bend and rivet an AK flat. I never done one and would appreciate any help. I can offer a small donation for the help if needed too. Still trying to find the parts to do this so its not something that will happen soon, maybe in a few weeks. Im also looking into doing the bending myself but with home made jigs.
I have bought the rifle parts today so until I receive it I cant do anything anyways, but im trying to get all the info I need before starting.

I would like to have professional help for my first attempt if possible before trying it by myself, as I have no idea how these go together. Im willing to drive out to LA but would like to do this closer to where I live. Im near the Chula Vista area.

Did you ever find somewhere to build your kit? I have one partially done also, and was interested in finishing it.

well I bought a pre bent flat, so all I need to do is drill the holes, and im doing a screw build. So all I need to do is press the barrel in and that should be the hardest part, unless something is way off.

I know a few guys who have had good luck with them. One veteran builder has done over 40 screw builds. Hey, you know the old saying don't you? IT"S JUST AN AK!

I'd still suggest a rivet build though!

got it done on saturday, it was pretty easy except for getting the barrel pin in, I ran into problems with that. I went with a pre bent receiver, only had to drill the holes and used screws. also bought headspace guages, that was the only thing I was worried about and got the barrel set before pinning, it was confusing on how to work the guages and after pushing in and pulling out the barrel I figured out how they work, its only fractions of an inch to adjust I thought it would take more.
                      Just shot it yesterday.
