The barrel is in.



I went with a Barsto semi fit. It required a far amount of fitting to the Caspian slide. Nothing that could not be accomplished with a file and stone but fitting none the less.

Nice! I went with the Nowlin semi-fit, and it also required a bit of work

I like that slide more and more.. might have to pull the trigger on one for the next build. Fusion sent me some pics of a couple of custom 6" slides they have ready, but they are classic cut and not unique so I think I will pass.

STI 126mm 9mm 10-round magazines are a pain to find right now...

Call Bar Sto precision. If you are nice to them, they will build you some 10 rounders that meet CA requirements.

Side note- I like the 6.5 PCC and am going to add one to my collection to go with my 6x45 AR and 6.5CM AR10.

I shot my 2011 built from a Limited10 80% frame and it shoots awesome. I went with the Nowlin semi-fit barrel and bushing and the accuracy is amazing. Gun is a little tight so needs to be shot a little more.

The next one is probably going to have to have that cool Brazos slide...

I will be following this thread. I have an aluminum 80 on order at limited 10. I was intimidated by trying the steel frame to start. Might have to add a steel frame though, did you cut the rails on the steel frame with the matrix jig?

Yes - Matrix jigs all the way around.

Why would steel intimidate you ? The carbide cutter is the only thing that would be intimidated and I assure you it wasn't.
