        +1

Only if it is a Carbine 2 again... we already did Carbine 2, don't really want to go back to Carbine 1.

ok, this is coming up this weekend. 2 questions for anyone familiar with the area...

            1) how is the terrain at the Sacramento Valley Shooting Center? driveways, parking lot require truck/SUV type clearance? or is a regular car fine?

            2) what area should i look for a motel to stay at?

            thanks!

Range 11 has covered shooting benches 200 yds. from the berm. Gravel 100 yds from berm. Your car should be fine, roads are paved up to each range. As far as a motel, you can get to SVSC from Galt, Elk Grove, Rancho Cordova fairly easily (20-30 min.). I'm not sure what's available in Ione.

Location, hours, and directions to Sacramento Valley Shooting Center in Sloughhouse, CA. Call, email, or get driving directions to the range.

ETA: If this class is anything like AOTC II, it should be a blast!

              Hope to see you there!

Yeah, the only thing that would've been better is a three day class w/vehicle or barricades.

Oh yeah, cooler weather might be nice (113 deg F OUCH!)

Maybe I can get 'em to come back in the spring of '10........

Sign me up for a three day class in the Spring of 2010. I agree, a vehicle and more barricades would be great. That last day, it was 106 in the shade!

yea it was great meeting and a pleasure shooting with all of you. i took the 3 day class before and i have to say that the barricades and vehicle shoot was a big missing part for me this time around. all in all it was a great experience nonetheless. i took only a few pics while we were out there, i'll post them here later tonight.
