Like everyone else, it is just a bit too far out to fully commit. At this point, nothing should keep me from the class. You may want to check with Miwall to see what kind of deal they would provide on factory ammo or reloads. Especially at that quantity.

If you are keeping a head count, I would be interested in DC2 not DC1.

Thanks for taking the time to work this out. Since I'm new to the AR platform, do you have any idea if there's talk of a DC1 class?

Depending on your level training/proficiency between now and then, you can attend the DC2 course. Basically, a great step if you wanted to attend this class would be to take some training from a reputable instructor between now and then. Too, competing in dynamic events like USPSA/IPSC/3-Gun/IDPA will help with firearms proficiency.

Wow...it's incredible the amount of interest in the course. If you're considering it, I'd sign up/make your decision soon as they are filling up quick.

We had one guy at the Tactical Response fighting Rifle course with a bullet button. I can definitely say gripless is the way to go. Even with 10 rd. mags. Fewer things to worry about while trying to learn something new. My brother ran a MM grip with no problems.

I really want to try this class....Hmmmmm.....
