-just pre-ordered ammo for a class in a couple of weeks. Ordered 9mm at $0.60/round out the door.

Are these Blazer Brass 115gr FMJ ammo? Funny that in times of plenty (2017-2019 Trump Slump) I used to consider these range fodder, not stuff you squirrel away in the basement with a bag of desiccant, etc.

Gone are the days you order $0.18/rd 124gr S&B ammo by the case and have it show up at the hotel when you arrive. Then you have plenty at the end of class to give the instructors

Now we always fly into Vegas bringing our ammo. It's fun subtracting enough stuff from the suitcase to make it weigh just less than 50 pounds while carrying enough ammo for class.

We should start a thread on how many rounds of each caliber weigh 11 pounds or less.

Anyone use a CMMG 22LR conversion kit for their AR-15 for the shorter ranges for 4 Day Practical Rifle and then switched back to 5.56 for the skills test?

Which 2 day class? None of the exercises in the inteo class are mandatory. So you never are REQUIRED to have knee and elbow pads. Just recommended if you are trying to get in some shooting positions.
