Co Th G has made the same posting in another thread he started in this forum. Can anybody remember FS making an offer to give away a FA AR-15? Those are worth in excess of $15K and require a tax stamp. The story in general, just doesn't sound right. He has never been "allowed" to attend but has given away 70 memberships and most of those people regret spending the money. The only money they had to spend is for the transfer fee, which has been as low as $50.00 and the $50.00 background check.

I wish I had lost the 10 to 20 pounds over 5 days he quotes, but since he never attended any classes, how does he know?

The facilities were fine with me, although it would be nice if they could put flush toilet bathroom down by the lower ranges.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

      Front Sight Patron Baby!

So looking forward to going back. Ran the 4DG class in early April. First time was a charm. Want to try again starting June 12th.

      Anyone booking the class?

I haven't bought into the Patron yet. As of now, I'm in the 'BLACK', I got my monies worth than what I paid into the Guardian Diamond Lifetime membership.

I still have plenty of Diamond memberships and certificates to give to family and friends. I don't loose the number of memberships I assign/give, as long as I pay the Transfer fee IIRC.

I've paid much more at other training schools for a half dozen of their classes.

I've nearly paid as much for the 3 CCW classes CA/UT/FL/NV I've taken.

I now have a lifetime of free classes to take at FS.

What would I need another 100 lifetime memberships and 100 certificates for? If I buy into the Patron level.

Still dwelling on the idea though...

Yes, it would be nice to organize a CalGuns FS trip.

I was thinking about doing the 2-Day Weekend, Handgun Skills Test June 26th to see if I can DG it.

          I want to take the 2DTHG course sometime this Fall/Winter 9/8, 11/24, 12/02, 12/18.

Looking for a economical way to store equipment at FS or Pahrump for classes. I would like to be able to store some equipment and perhaps an ice chest (no firearms). This would make it easy to leave some equipment there to travel lighter and perhap fly in and out.

I don't want to rent a traditional storage space because it would be way too much room and too expensive. Any ideas?

Sure wish FS had member lockers!

PM me if you want to take courses.. Im always down to go with people... the skill builder in JUNE is very tempting. Also other reasons to do the PAtron membership is that it gives you ammo cost+20% on location. Also if they ever build a hotel it is unlimited stay.... maybe that will happen in 20 years? IDK Still I upgraded!!

I got another call from "Dr." Piazza this morning saying that he was going to double the Patron cost "at any time now".

I tried to organize a couple of CG FS trips last year but it never really took off.

I think it was Tripper's turn to pick the dates for this year.

Seems like whatever date you chose to train out there, you will run into a bunch of CG'ers anyway!

I became weary of receiving Piazza's damn emails. I unsubscribed from his automated emailing system last week. Now I'm receiving damn phone calls. If I'm interested in upgrading, I'll contact you. Leave me the hell alone, kindly.

Or just go to the dessert near by with a large wooden box, shovel and gps.. bury your storage container and throw your stuff in it... and then cover it up... Every year go and get your stuff out of your own cache point keeps you up to date with your land nav skills!
