Email sent. Short answer, up in the air. Working on it

Class is fun so far as usual. On Advanced Tactical, the first thing we do to get up to speed is take the shooting portion of the skills test. Ha, looks like I'm reusing what they are teaching!

        Hey MP301

I just ordered some of these to spread the love, found out these are for new members only. If you are already a FS member, you can not use these to upgrade to a new level. Kinda buzz killer as I wanted to upgrade my daughter.

Just walked in the door from front sight trip. Great time but had to come home a different way due to weather (Carson Pass closed from snow).

I think ill be sleeping until 10 or 11, so ill return all PM's when I get up.

Remember, for those of you local-ish, ill be in Stockton around 2:30 and livermore probably around 5 or so.

If anyone is still thinking about it, your running out of time. Offer ends friday.

If you want to do it and think you might not have the payment to me by the deadline, PM me por email me and we will see what we can work out. If there is a way, we will find it!

NOT ANYMORE. Piazza just mailed out a complain-o-gram about how his intentions are being abused, but that he WILL allow upgrades but grab all you can because this is the last time ever.

I suspect next year he'll have everyone selling newbie memberships for $250 instead of replicating their same level. Right now in the crop of new members, there are probably more Diamond and Diamond Alaska memberships than any other type.

Front Sight is a lot of fun. Been a couple of times. I am always amazed by how much information there is to absorb and put into practice. You could take the same course 20 times and still get something new out of it each time. I've always had great experiences.

Almost as much fun as the course, is the two days I spend in Las Vegas unwinding afterward. Two vacations rolled into one. Got my favorite hotel (Mandalay Bay is a great value), favorite restaurant (Red Square) and favorite club(s).

Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it) I also found more affordable courses close to home. Traveling these days is not as much fun as it used to be. I am dreading the body scanner/molestation pat-down experience.

I guess that all depends on how much you have used yours. I've been a member since Naish actually taught classes and made the speeches. I took his 2nd class in Bakersfield. Initially there were no levels. When levels were introduced, bronze came with an ingot to weigh down your pocket, silver came with an actual silver coin, etc.

I've averaged between 5-8 courses/year since that time. I sold my initial certificates recouping most of my initial investment. To regret the time, the investment, or the actual classes taken just to save a few thousands would be pointless. Its paid for itself many times over.

Instead of being bitter about what you've spent, buy a bunch now and hold onto them. After this offer is over, demand will go up and you can recoup your initial investment (if that's your concern).

And USE your membership. Can't tell you how many people buy memberships and never use them ever. That's a waste.

I'm also a Diamond with Alaska. At the price point for this offer, you will have gotten your money's worth by the end of your first class.

This is MP301's thread. If anyone is still interested in obtaining a membership, shoot him a PM. Your running out of time.

Hey, your in Sac about an hour from me. I drive and it takes me about 7 hours. Can carry all my crap and ammo and ride with otherds. I did the math (for me) it would only save me about2 total hours and cost much more money iuf I flu and let the TSA fondle my junk... Heck, you might even be able to go with me or someone else so your expenses are cut in half

I just got back at OMG 30 this morning and the expenses were split three ways this time. Dont miss out!

                          Hey everybody,

The response has been great so far and everything is going smoothly. I can hardly wait until we have all of these new members planning trips to Front Sight.

It will be really nice if we can plan some classes this yeasr where a lot of us can go at the same time...

PM with any questions. We only have until tomrrow but we will figure something out on payment so that i have it in time to get your membership. Tell your friends and family because like others have said...this will most likely be one of those promotions that will only happen once. This means that if your one of those people that think your going to wait for the next one, good luck with that one!

This is because the main purpose of this event was to increase membership numbers tio show investors and bank that they have a crap load of members that will use the new hotel and buy into the timeshares, etc. But, they didnt make it crystal clear that it was only for new members and are honoring upgrades which doesnt help their numbers. So even if they did another similar promotion,(unlikely) they would spell out that there would be no upgrades.

And those thast are upgrading have it good because then they get to sell their old one for whatever they can get for it. Yeah, they cant sell it while this promotion is going on, but after its done they will be worth a lot more. And even if they only got $250 for the old one, that would just mean their Diamond upgrade is free! This kind of makes up for how much we paid for our memberships in the first place.

I have been getting calls and messages from thiose that have sent Money Orders that now want addition memberships and asre worried that they cant get the money here in time. We will make that happen, just send me a PM and we will work it out.

Ill be checking my PM's and email off and on today and Ill get back to you ASAP.

Hey, I got a question for you MP or others. I havent ordered any memberships yet - I think Im going to order up a 12 pack today.

How do you assign them to others? Do they mail something out physically that we hand out, or is it electronic, or do we just let FS know the names/address of people we want to transfer to?

                            Thanks!

The will send you the stuff (whatever the stuff is - certificates of memebrship or something to that affect) that are TBD - To Be Determined.

Then you get it out to thiose you have sold to and they will turn in their info directly to FS in an info application to get their package.

At first i was thinking that I would rather have the stuff sent directly to the new members, but in my case that would have been a huge nightmare. With all of the people signing up, I think the nerves are getting a bit frayed with the FS staff. They want the smaller orders to use the online order form which is what you should do. I will PM you with that link in a second.

So, it works good for the buyer because they dont have to give us whatever personal info that FS requires and if you took a chance on ordering a membership for somebody that flakes before they pay you, its not in their name yet. You dont give them the membership until you get the money. If they dont pay you, the membership can be sold to someone else since it TBD until they turn in all the paperwork.

That works out well. Also means that we are 'justified' if you will, in putting a little $$ in it for ourselves for our time of sorting all the paperwork, priority/express mailing certificates out, processing credit cards (at least in my case), etc.

                                Cool deal.
