So all of those "memberships" I got with the continuing elevation of my membership status are all gone? What happened to the "as many courses as you wish to take for life" for free baloney? What happened to all the money I gave IG all the past years to get those memberships I could not even give away? Guess I've been conned...again!!!
Or will he honor those commitments anyway?? I have yet to set foot on FS dirt but was looking forward to it and now it seems the trips will not be possible. $1000 a course if I have to travel from NorCal to Las Vegas/Pahrump including the ammo, motel, fuel and food and then I would have to return to take course for another weapon. And now he wants me to pay an additional $500 per year and $100 a course??

Regarding the ongoing saga of FS, It seems like we all need to take a deep breath and relax. To that end, here is a golden oldie, perhaps from Iggy's play list, for your enjoyment:

        "Do The Hustle"

Don't hang up. This is IGGY with an important announcement to make to all loyal members of FS:

        "Do it!"

Just like every other BS promise, it doesn't work.

I didn't bother responding to the latest email.
while I don't believe he'd ban or black list someone JUST for voting no, I also don't think the $500 a year plus daily fees is the way to go.

guess we'll all just have to wait and see what happens...

FS is bankrupt, kaput! All promises are no more. The life time free classes gone. I don't think FS will even be around in 5 yrs even if they don't divide everything up between the creditors. JMHO.

I've never responded to his emails before, but I felt it may help and this is what I wrote-

                  Mr. Piazza,

I’ve been a Front Sight member for almost 11 years and over this time I have attended nearly 90 courses. I can honestly say I’ve had a lot of fun, met a lot of great people (including instructors), and have thoroughly enjoyed the training and the fun times I’ve had at your establishment. To me, Front Sight is the Disneyland for 2A loving people!

I understand money is needed to keep Front Site going, and I do support maybe an annual $500 dollar a year maintenance fee, but I do not support the $100+ per day range fees. At that price, for me, it’s cheaper for to train with a local trainer rather than pay all the associated expenses to drive out there and train. It no longer makes sense financially.

To answer your question, I can’t answer yes or no because there’s some elements I agree with, and some I disagree with.

I really hope Front Sight pulls through all of this and I look forward to the time when everything goes back to normal. Or at least as close to normal as possible. I’ll admit I’m REALLY jonesing for a few courses right now.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for Front Sight. I wish you and Front Sight all the best at getting through this mess.

What else does IP do. He admitted under oath that he spends less than 10 days/year on property at Front Sight. Maybe he sits in his home office concocting his email sales pitches. He can't help himself.

You captured pretty much what I feel. I haven't been to FS anywhere near as much as you but I've enjoyed every trip.

I could see the yearly fee OR the daily charges OR even a per class fee but the combination is a no go for me.

When you factor in gas, food and lodging and then add in the fees, it really doesn't make sense for me. I always drive out but if I were to fly airfare/rental car would make even less sense.

I'm already out. Finding local 1 and 2-day classes within 1-2 hour drives from me, both in Sacramento and San Jose. Just took a Tactical Pistol I & II class, and taking Tactical Pistol III in October and thinking about taking a Two Man Tactics class coming up in a few weeks. Have since cancelled my trip out to FS in September. Would rather give my money elsewhere after all this. Was previously going to FS 3+ times a year.

Some don't learn by others habits, especially blatant habits and outright lies.

Given his history, what makes you reasonably think that Piazza will change?

He's already destroyed any and all confidence at FS, not to mention honoring terms, and causing FS to be noted as a rip-off sales scan.

Piazza's stability and ability, not to mention credibility, is an ongoing bad dream that's never gotten better.

Bet he’ll go to the bankruptcy judge and show his poll “results”. See? 95% of my responses is for supporting me by paying $500/year. Since I have 100,000 members, I can count on them for almost $50 million a year in membership alone. Add to that the $100 per day fee …
