Just got back from Vegas / Henderson.
We're hot to buy a house in Lake Las Vegas. Should make training like this much easier to come by.

Random question, anyone know where to find/buy old Front Sight targets?

The plan is to do the ProShooter that weekend, then family flies to Vegas the following Monday... And we would continue for Spring Break!

Awesome. As I told you, bummed to miss it this year, but can't make the flights work for me because of work. Make sure to bring tons of spares for your equipment and hopefully a back up.

Did anyone notice the Heritage membership is now %50 off courses vs. the %25 in the past?

At about 29 minutes, she confirms %50 off. I may give them a go for a 2 day if I don't have to start at the beginner class.

I took their 2-day class last June. You will need to forget almost everything you have learned at Front Sight. Totally different techniques geared to shooting fast and on the move. It may work for you and it may not. It's like going to a different martial arts school. It is still gun fighting, but karate vs kung fu is the best analogy I can come up with.

I think what was said is, as a Praire Fire member ($504/year) you get 50% off courses. So you would need to attend three, two day courses per year to pay for an annual membership. Otherwise you just pay the full price per course and not pay the annual membership fee if you are only taking one or two, two day courses.

At least that is how i see it.. Maybe if you call they offer you some discount on the annual membership?

They have a promo for former FS folks at $17 a month so $204 a year + $100 a day for classes.

You should've got an email when PF took over. You need to re register on the website and then it showed up. I think you can call the concierge.

                          Thanks.
It just so happens I'm in contact with their concierge, Daimon Nelson, right now regarding the fun shoot stuff they have going on now for the super bowl week.

Here is what he said for former F.S. members

As a former FS member you receive the following:

$17/month for the membership, in comparison brand new members to PrairieFire pay $42/month
Courses are $100/day, down from the $200/day for non-members
Open ranges/Archery ranges are free to use
Access to the members only steel pistol ranges
                            50% off on sporting clays (0.35 cents/clay)
Up to 75% off of experiences

The $17/month will run all the way through 2024. Please reach out if you have any further questions, or wish to join us as a member.

Just a Quick Note that the Bankruptcy Liquidating TRUSTEE is paying out 23.12% of the Member's claim that had been approved earlier through the Court. So collectively a maximum of $3 million dollars is being returned to its Members.

I was at P.F. last week and took a tour. Guide and staff were super friendly but, there was nothing going on.
