Chief, just Google reloading bench and you'll get a ton of hit with some excellent ideas. There is even a how to video. Also try the NRA, I believe they have drawings with dimensions for a reloading bench. Steve

Just pick up an old heavy desk off Craigs list free pages and save the aggrevation. LOL
        It actually works well.

Yep, that is what I am going to do. So far I have two that I will be checking out tomorrow. Went to see a few today but they were not very sturdy. I saw one that is "Free" made out of solid oak. The person that is giving it away said "Bring help cause it is a heavy mother ****er" I asked him if it was sturdy and he said that it was made out of solid oak and it was very, very, very sturdy.

Thanks all for the great suggestions.

            This is what you want.

This is the slickest reloading bench I've ever seen, simple to build and the components are from Sam's Club.

Find an old solid door and build from there. Or bolt it to the kitchen table
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

I have one similar to this but with melamine tops and a full bottom instead of just 1/2. Very easy to make, three nights to complete (drill battery problems) and less than 40 bucks for materials.
