Wow I'm glad I just found this thread I literally had a few items on my cart there but I guess I'll give freedom a try(They do have free shipping for first time customers!). I understand that mistakes can be made but it's how a business addresses them that is the most important.

I would like to thank OP for documenting it to save us all from having to deal with this horrible customer service. I've had issues all around from mom and pops to big chains but I've never experienced anything like this.

Some of the other posters mentioned just reloading your own and I see you have s problem finding powder. I can understand pistol powder is still in high demand but it isn't all that hard to find it. If you check the two links posted a few posts up you should be able to find powder within the week. The officizl powder in stock thread gets updated by maxx03 fairly often with several other cgers updating it including myself. If you subscribe to the thread you should be able to get pistol powder to last you quite a while. I, for one, do not have a problem finding it as I go through as distributor and there is always the market place sub forum here if you don't mind the prices. Either way you'd be saving more than being shorted or getting the run around from companies like LAX. Stick to freedom munitions as they have a better track record than most reman manufacturers. I do apologize if I offend anyone, including yourself op, but why would anyone purchase ammo at a gun show when you can perhaps waltz around and stumble pon powder? The outcome of your own reloaded ammo out weighs any savings from any remaned ammo manufacturer IMHO.

I do hope you get what LAX owes you and like the others, I agree, they should make it right rather than making you jump through hoops. In the end, there are companies that just focus on certain things whether it be profit (cheap prices), customer service, or speedy delivery. Choose two out of the three but in this instance with LAX you only get one option. Just like how a lot of people whine about PSA's horrible shipping and how it's difficult to contact them when these people have read about others posting their own problems with PSA yet they still order from them and end up in the same position as the post(s) they just read.

I have everything to reload my own ammo minus the powder. I would like to pick up some Winchester WST or something close to it. The few places I found that had a 1lbs wanted $100 for it. Thats crazy. Once I get the powder I still have yo deal with the learning curve of making my own ammo.

          Thanks for the info.

While we're on the "piling on" bandwagon..... I bought 500rds of their 10mm reloads early last year and they're very disappointing. Accuracy is all over the place and frankly, a pretty weak load too. I've since started loading my own and have seen much, much better results.

I still can't get over the way they handled your situation. Their reply a few posts back was a joke and whining about people sometimes getting over on them is weak. Grow up folks, that's simply the price of doing business and to cry about it on this forum is bush league, at best.

Customer service is simple: Go above and beyond, EVERYTIME, and suddenly threads like these disappear or never start to begin with. Brain science and rocket surgery, I know....

Its almost always a case failure, and its debated whether its an overcharged round or just fatigued brass. You can shoot thousands of rounds that fire fine, but eventually you or someone near you is going to experience this.
I wanted to pass along some information on an incident that happened to me today at the range. I was shooting a stock Wilson Combat Protector chambered in .45. I have owned this pistol for about 5 months and have put 1,200 rounds downrange. Since I end up at the range 2-3 times a week I...

Has anyone tried these reloaded rounds yet? I couldn't find any information of them on this site. I'm looking at the 180gr .40 Under $170 shipped for 500 rounds including the plastic ammo "can" These will be for plinking away - but I don't want to risk destroying my gun or endangering the...

Today was at the range and on my last magazine for the day, got through 12 rounds and on the 13th kaboom!!! blew the extractor out and safety was part way out. went and got gunsmith at range he says it was ammo. I'm using reloads. The casing was split and stuck in barrel also the endcap was...

I avoid commercial reloads in general. The only exception I would make is ammo that was reloaded from once fired cases from either military bases or police ranges so that you have a reasonable chance that they are indeed once-fired.

So I just got my purchase from freedom munitions and noticed something weird when I opened one of the boxes. I pulled out a few rounds to see just how much the bullets were pressed in. Notice: the one on the far left looks properly seated, then getting further pushed in the further right...

Alright, so I know there are people that are completely against shooting FM reman ammo, and some that shoot it all the time. This isn't a debate about that. Anyway, I've been shooting FM new and reman ammo regularly over the past year or so. A few thousand rounds without any issue. I've shot...

I have read bad things about both ammo makers. Even the big guys screw up.

Funny especially since everyone who buys from them always seem to look for the cheapest deals in town, but like many say people you get what you pay for.

I first looked at LAX because they were local. Trying to support the local gun stores........

FM was actually cheaper for me and I had no issues with FM. I have since started reloading

I bought 1k of 45ACP from them last week, saw this thread and immediately went to count all my rounds to make sure I didn't get shorted, all is accounted for. I am willing to bet this happens every now and then (majority of their customers probably don't count out each round), especially if they go by weight. But as someone has already mentioned I don't understand why they said you have to wait until the next gun show, they should have told you that you could have come into the store.
