I had to do a search on TTFN. I get it now, poo-bear.

How do you load those "razor sharp" bullets without injuring yourself? I almost lost a finger loading some zero 230gr JHP last time.

As I said, carefully. I use sometimes use tools from my surgical kit, but you can get a lot of stuff here for safety. Something like this will work.

You like lube. I don't care. Lube is not necessary. But if you like lube, use it. Just don't go around telling people that the reason they effed up their round is due to a lack of lube.

The reason you were able to do that is because your sizer and seater dies are possessed by a demon.

Flaring more only works the brass more. Unfortunately, it is necessary for lead bullets, but not for Xtreme 230gr plated.

This is getting ridiculous. Nobody is disputing the fact that you can seat the bullet without flaring. It simply makes it easier to align on a progressive press.

For example, I seated this .38 super JHP into an 8.6x70 rifle cartridge without flaring. How did I do it? Very carefully. It's a pretty tight fit. Now imagine you loaded bullets like this on a progressive press, it would not yield a good results. Just because you do not need to flare, doesn't mean that flaring a bit more cannot help alleviate the OP's issues.
