I disagree.Not really. That little bitty case isn't real forgiving. I've seen .010" change in OAL make a pretty big difference in how it shoots.
My own pet target load is pretty mild in commercial brass and flattens primers in NATO brass.
Now... firing a pistol that is doing that multiple times without noticing...
People load 9mm to major power factor using medium burning rate powders and push 50,000 PSI all the time. S&W made a .356 TSW which was a 9x21 loaded to 50,000 PSI. It takes alot more to blow a hole through a casehead.
I'm thinking a double charge did this.Comment
